- After witnessing a Mafia murder, slick saxophone player Joe (Tony Curtis) and his long-suffering buddy, Jerry (Jack Lemmon), improvise a quick plan to escape from Chicago with their lives. Disguising themselves as women, they join an all-female jazz band and hop a train bound for sunny Florida. While Joe pretends to be a millionaire to win the band's sexy singer, Sugar (Marilyn Monroe), Jerry finds himself pursued by a real millionaire (Joe E. Brown) as things heat up and the mobsters close in.

this is one of my all time favourite movies and I am glad that I watched this movie as a 15 year old kid when it was shown on British TV in 1981. My now late mother told me to watch it because I was never interested in gangster movies but I was more than pleasantly surprised when I did. Classic movie, 10 out of 10. Robert Bridgend Wales 🏴

I still Love Some Like It Hot, I was eleven when the movie came out. I love the song Elton John sings about Norma Jean or Marylin Monroe! all she wanted is to be Loved, what a sad Life….💔
