Hello, I just got a brand new aftermarket amplifier installed in my 2018 Ford Fusion Titanium. The one that has the Sony Surround System with a center channel and a subwoofer. I also got a DSP installed as well. After I got these two things installed, when I went to the sound settings, it would not let me Put the sound in stereo and it is stuck in surround. The speed compensated volume also cannot be changed. I prefer stereo over surround and I was wondering how do I fix this problem and what should I do? Thanks.
Great vid sir, trying to find if there is any adapter to a Toyota blade to retain back up camera and steering wheel controls
Thanks so much for sharing. Which steering wheel control adapter did you use?
Have you seen the new cameras made into the '99-'07 tailgate handles? I'm thinking of trying 1.
Nice!!
Hey my screens harness has accessory power and camera power, should I just weld them together with the Metras red wire?
Good video. I have an excursion that I will do this setup. I have a question. For this setup do you connect the parking brake wire or do you do some type of bypsss? Radio using is Pioneer AVH-1550nex.
Sure, you can use a bypass for video playback while in motion. However you won’t need any sort of bypass for the backup camera as they are unrelated. Check out our pioneer bypass video.
I followed your instructions. The back up camera works great and I have the same radio except without the nobs. The only problem is that the radio and inferred camera lights stay on all the time. This drains my battery. I tried to turn off the screen, but the radio buttons on the bottom remain lite. Can you suggest something that I missed? Thanks
Wiring issue for sure. Hard to diagnose over a youtube comment. A multimeter will help you with your connections!

it wasn't set up right, also what dsp is it?
I have a question? On my 2018 Nissan Altima I don’t have rear speakers or the wire’s. Any idea how to install the wires?
i wouldn't if i was you. just stick to the back ones and your front doors. Only Altimas with Bose system have them.
I don’t have the tools for soldering and heat shrinking. Would it be technically possible to use residential grade twisties and tape to accomplish the same goal?
Technically possibly yes, but it's eventually going to corrode and cause the circuit to stop working
What size wire loom did you use?
1/4” amzn.to/3Wx80cR
I installed a backup camera and i wanted to ask if it’s normal for the LED lights to remain on even thought I turn off my lights?
Nope. If you wired your camera to accessory power and it has LEDs, you need a different camera without LEDs. If it had LEDs, I suggest wiring his to reverse power only.
If your reverse lights remain on temporarily when the truck is turned off and you wired to reverse power, then they should turn off when the lights turn off.
@@ProvoBeastAudio i ended up wiring it up to reverse power. Everything works now. But I did loose the option to be able to select camera to check load while driving. I think I’ll just wire it back up like I initially had it and use the camera in your video. Thank you for your information. It did help and got me a little more knowledgeable on this stuff.
the only problem with these is it covers up the State on the licenses plate, that makes it illegal, sorry
Not in every state. If this worries you, just get a behind the plate mounted camera.
