കർത്താവു താൻ ഗംഭീര നാദത്തോടും പ്രധാന ദൂതന്റെ ശബ്ദത്തോടും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കാഹളത്തോടും കൂടെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി വരികയും ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ മരിച്ചവർ മുമ്പെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കയും ചെയ്യും. ( 1 തെസ്സലൊനീക്യർ 4 : 16 )

ഏറിയ വെള്ളങ്ങൾ പ്രേമത്തെ കെടുപ്പാൻ പോരാ; നദികൾ അതിനെ മുക്കിക്കളകയില്ല. ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിലുള്ള സർവ്വസമ്പത്തും പ്രേമത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി കൊടുത്താലും അവനെ നിന്ദിച്ചുകളയും. ( ഉത്തമഗീതം 8 : 7 ) Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. പ്രത്യാശെക്കോ ഭംഗം വരുന്നില്ല; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്നേഹം നമുക്കു നല്കപ്പെട്ട പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാൽ നമ്മുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ പകർന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. ( റോമർ 5 : 5 ) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. ( Romans 5 : 5 )
