Leaving our trace in space - GP Krk 2022 (ENG)

GP Krk is one of the largest Croatian construction companies.
It was founded in 1956 and most of its business is based on island projects. Since the beginning of the new millennium, significant deals have been arranged throughout the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. New construction successes have positioned GP Krk as one of the most competent construction companies in the region.
The decade of economic crisis, starting with 2009, has hit the construction sector particularly hard. In that period, we have witnessed the collapse of large construction companies, so that only those who managed to timely carry out restructuring remain on the market. Due to internal reserves and a good organizational structure, GP Krk overcame the negative effects of the crisis. Such a business policy has positioned the company at the very top of the Croatian construction field/ market/ business.
In the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, GP Krk is one of the largest companies. With new construction successes the company has joined the list of the most competent construction companies in the region. The growth of our competitiveness in Croatia, and Slovenia, where we are also present, is cause for optimism.
We are especially proud of our stable number of employees, ranging between 800 and 900 professionals. Quality workforce and a large number of highly educated experts are a guarantee that GP Krk can realize even the most demanding jobs.
A complete production process, beginning with our own production of stone aggregates, concrete and asphalt mixtures, to their installation on construction sites, as well as the plant for the production of prefabricated structures, is one of the most significant advantages that enables stability and independence in business, especially meeting deadlines.
GP Krk is a company with clearly and realistically set goals. As the last, turbulent decade has shown, we view problems simply as challenges from which we draw strength to grow and achieve a new quality of business.
The lively bustle that defines the spirit of our company simply does not allow for a return to the old. The only exception is when we pause to gaze in disbelief at what we have accomplished in all the hours, days, and years of dedicated work by GP Krk employees. And then we realize, with pride, that the trace we have made in time and space will remain for all time. The space left to us by our ancestors, we leave to future generations.
