    love it but got a few questions.... did you put modge podge over the napkin once you heat set it into the tray? did you use all of the resin in those 2 bottle? meaning 4ounces of each bottle for the tray? the deco on sides of tray is that a stencil? where did you get the feet hobby lobby?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  Před 2 měsíci

      The video shows not to put any Modge Podge or other varnish if adding resin. Only if you choose to not use resin. Only use half of each bottle, you only want the resin to cover the napkin and edges of the wood. The video shows this part at the end. 👍🏻😊

    Hello,
    Is why didn't you varnish tissue paper?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  Před rokem

      Varnish would not give the same effect that I wanted for this tray. It would leave to much room for damage and scratches if I just used varnish.

    Did you use very thick resin?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  Před rokem

      Normal 2 part resin was used, placed on a level dust free area to cure. Heat dryer was used the first 15 mins as some bubbles surfaced, so I could achieve the glass finish desired. ☯️😊

  • @deborahgonzalezknight168

    Will the iron work with thicker paper?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  Před rokem

      Yes it will, I’ve used thicker paper for decoupage on my wood letters. And it comes up beautifully! Just be sure to use the parchment paper on top of the paper your attaching.

    Hi - does the resin make the tray heat resistant?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  Před rokem +1

      Yes, Just be sure to read the package, as some resins are not heat resistant or food safe.
