You should try Marie Kondo folding. It looks like it might help you. I have been doing it for years and it works. Much easier to see what you have in your dresser drawers and it makes you fold to fit back in and stay permanently organized.
I completely forgot about that method of folding! thanks for the reminder, I'll have to give it a try :)
FYI, You can turn those cubes on their side so you can see and access what is inside. When I used them I put sweaters, sheets, towels and blankets. You can also line up purses.

Hi! I'm a 74 yr old woman and I love declutter videos. I own no white clothes. I've never been interested in clothes shopping. Even when I worked full-time, I made
charts of what went together. Right now, I have 4 pairs of dressy slacks, 3 pairs of everyday slacks, 5 nice cardigans and 4 hoodies. All are in neutral colors.
My off season clothes fit in a carry-on bag. We live in a condo near Chicago. Tina, Al's wife

OMG if i did this it would be a 10 hour video LOL. About the event t-shirts, it's cool to hav ethem as a memory, and if you tend to not wear them again a lot (we can accumulate a lot) you could cut them up and hang them on the walls as a poster, even frame them! Just an idea :)

I recently decluttered a lot of clothes from my closet and I had alot of plastic hangers. I brought slim hangers and it was a game changer for my small closet. I donated all of my plastic hangers. Just a suggestion maybe you can buy slim hangers to have more space in your closet.

Celine! The closet cleaning dream. How are you? Isn't decluttering so freeing? I definitely need to do my own in my own home. I'll get to it. My flaw is that I'm a digital hoarder. Being a producer, artist and writer I build up so much on my external hard drivesss 😂. I need to back up and organize my files for the new year. Now back to you. Ok is your closet a living organism?? It damn sure seemed angry and was attacking you. Glad you slayed that dragon 😂. Last thing. We're not even going to talk about the 1/16 amount of closet space you gave your man. @Celinelikedion Hello Celine👋, I can certainly relate to this video . I have to say, you did such a fantastic good job as it would have been a lot of work and taken up so much time.👍 I empathise in giving oneself excuses and putting off decluttering because at first appearance it always look like the too hard basket scenario. It took me 3 years to get through decluttering the clothes part of my wardrobe as I kept changing my mind on what to keep, throw out and sell. I also tried to follow Marie Kondo’s way of thinking. I am now in the slow process of going through the non clothing part of my closet, sorting out the nostalgic things that I have kept since my childhood and yes I am procrastinating 😂.
I did manage to sell many of my vintage clothes on eBay, but not for a high prices, mainly between $10 to 20. I recently sold a few peplum tops as I knew they would come back in fashion. And isn’t it amazing how you forget what is in your closet and how clothes evoke many memories. I love the amazon boxes🤩. I bought some awesome drawer dividers on eBay which keep my undergarments and socks in order.
I am also very much into my comfortable active wear. I have also changed my purchasing habits as well and when there is a special occasion, I like to hire out a designer dress which is so much cheaper than buying a new dress.
