Another amazing tutorial Terry! I could be classified a "newborn" beginner if that term ever existed! I have never used ANY type of program and am diving right into this one to create a company newsletter. Already an expert note taker, I so loved your recap at the end because this enabled me to add titles to my notes, ha! Thank you!

Have two problems which appear to be from the last update.
First I want to put a coloured layer under the typing I have on a second layer. I have always been able to do this with no problem just by stacking the layers. No matter how I try cannot get this to work. So then I tried putting both on the same layer and using arrange send colour to the back typing to the front same results. Won't work.
The other is numbered lists. Have always been able to set either to continue numbering or to start over. Today if I stay within the same text frame will continue numbering from previous or I can say start over and works as usual. If I have another text box which I often do under illustrations even when I have set to continue from previous number it goes back to #1. Have found a ridiculous work around but I am finding this extremely frustrating.
Any idea what is going on?

I have tried out some of the advices online, also from adobe, but no solutions so far. One commented that adobe knows the issue, and are working on it. What is your thoughts about this issue?

I am an indesign user. I want to know about some thing which I can't able to do in indesign CS6. Can we apply Gradient in "Square" , "Conical" and "Elliptical" type in indesign? In the Coral draw, we can able to do the Gradient in Linear, Radial, Square and Conical Mode. But in indesign only two modes are given i.e. Linear and Radial. How can it be possible in indesign CS6 to apply Gradient in "Square" , "Conical" and "Elliptical" mode?

How do I set Indesign for a grayscale book, where the images look like they really are in photoshop???? It's driving me crazy
