Loved all the stories behind these pictures. What a treat !
These images are not just only images but they all have stories. So nice to hear and know the stories behind these pictures.
Salamat, celyne grace. I very much appreciate your kind comment. Be well, and best to you.
Room 111 Photography walang anuman! Mabuhay ka! Hi to your beautiful wife too.
This video was incredibly inspiring to me. I had no idea this camera was capable of producing photographs like these. I stuck some new film in mine the second I finished watching it! Thanks so much.
Thanks for your very kind comment. Very much appreciated. Enjoy your rediscovery of instant film.
Thanks so much for sharing your memories with us. Thank You for serving!!!!!!
Hello, Knitcognito. Thanks for the kind words. Make a New Year's resolution to take more photos this year than any year before, and with film! Warm regards. Be well.
Those pictures of the trains look absolutely brilliant!
Hello, Snakes. Thanks for the kind words. The colors really shocked me, too. I had no idea instant film was capable of that level of color saturation and vibrance. Be well and best wishes.
Amazing detailed, perfectly explained video. I just received my Neo-classic and was struggling with parallex, so different than my Nikon DSLR! Thanks for your info and examples. Very helpful.
Hello, Ms. Hoffman. I'm glad you found the video useful. Enjoy your new camera. Be well and be blessed.
You are the only one in my knowledge that shows a lot of instax photographs as examples of what we can get with the mini 90. I bought one on ebay for 40$ in perfect condition. You are right about the reds which reminds me of kodakrome... beautiful! Looking forward to shooting in good lighting conditions, especially when there are reds and blues that pop. Thanks for this long video, the best I found on CZcams! Cheers from Sweden!
Michel, thanks again for your kind comments. You are very gracious. You're lucky to be in Sweden. It hasn't lost its sanity like the US. Warm wishes to you.
@@room111photography5thanks! yes i try to follow the us politics a bit but it is really depressing. And i really don't understand what is going on in the world in general either. This is crazy times! Not good for the future of our childrens! Cheers!
Thank you so much this was super helpful! Side note, your energy is insanely comforting, I don’t know what it is about you but you’re doing something right in life lol. Peace & love
Manda, I cannot tell you how appreciative I am of your very generous and warm comment. It's clear you choose to build people up instead of tearing them down. It's a disappearing quality, and may you be blessed for it. Wishing you well always. Rob.

baekxing Thank you for your very kind words. Best wishes!
I just bought my Instax Mini 90 last week. And this video (and also the first part) is really helpful for me to understand the camera.
I have a little problem though with the paralax. When I shoot with other modes than macro, should I also tilting or adjusting my viewfinder? I saw that most of your pictures were centered. Thank you so much.
Normally with my DSLRs and mirrorless cameras I use the rule of thirds, which means I deliberately do not center the subject in the image for portraits, but place the subject 1/3 of the way from the left edge or right edge, and if in landscape, I place the horizon 1/3 from the bottom or top, depending how it looks. Never centered. But with Instax that rule is relaxed. The image is so small that it is necessary to center the subject. But feel free to tilt the camera. One word of caution. Make sure when you turn the camera to turn it so the flash is on the top side and not on the bottom side. If you hit your subject with flash on the bottom, your subect's face will not be lit properly. The flash should come from above, not below. Best to you.
Awww I love how you say "A L E X A" so you don't activate her 😂😅 Thanks for the video, I'm definitely getting the mini 90 now! Not a professional photographer, just someone looking for long-lasting memories and whatnot.
Retro Controller Hi, Retro. Thanks for the warm and uplifting comment. You might want to consider Instax Wide (300). It is amazing!!! Been using it for two weeks. Hope to do a video soon. Thanks again. Be well.
Great and informative video....thank you.
I am the one to thank you, sir, for your kind words. Be well.
This was so helpful!!
Stephanie Sharp Thank you for your very positive comment. Much appreciated. Enjoy your Instax. It's loads of fun.
Thank you so much!
Great video.
Andie, thank you. Be well, and best wishes to you.
Amazing part 1 and 2 videos.
Im intending to get the instax mini 8 but your videos have made me now want to get the 90. Your photos are beautiful, im just afraid I wont be able to capture the photo I want, like you. Do you have any general rules?
Many thanks! (Ps. your voice reminds me of Z from the movie antZ (if youve seen it haha))
Shin your comment is very gracious and warm. Thank you. I've been using the Instax 300 for a month now and highly recommend it. It is Wide format and awesome. I'll check out the movie regarding my voice. Thanks for the heads-up. Best to you always. Rob.
Can you use bulb mode + self timer to completely eliminate the risk of hand shake when pressing the shutter?
Forgive me, the camera has been in storage a long time. I remember so little about it. I'm sorry I cannot answer your question.
@7.53 I understanding is that parallax happens in Macro mode. If you see the image on the left, it looks like macro shot to me as the rolls look bigger and the whole basket is not in the picture. Were these picture taken from same distance and same position?
Hello, nimanna. Parallax happens when the camera is *not* in macro mode. Parallax is the difference between what the user sees through the viewfinder and what the lens captures. Two different perspectives. Macro mode corrects this difference. Yes, there is a change in position of the camera when going to macro. It changes the view, therefore a user must recompose. Fill the frame too close in regular mode and you get the incorrect images that I demonstrated in the video. Switch to macro mode, recompose filling the frame once again, and you have a correct image.
When should one use lighten or darken mode when shooting? I'm pretty new to this camera and would not like to waste a lot of film; thank you so much.
It's a matter of preference, really. If you believe your photos are overexposing, then you might want to use the darken feature. And if underexposing, lighten. Part of the charm of Instax is the imperfection of the photos. If your photos are overexposed or underexposed, it's okay with instant film.
@@room111photography5 Exactly! you are right about the charm of imperfections. You can't expect perfect exposures every time with instant film and that's why it is a fun media that you can share directly with other people.
Beautfil pictures ! On the outside frames, do you use darken mode on all of them or it's just standard mode ?
Greetings, Maxime. It's a standard frame / border. They are the most affordable. Other frames cost quite a bit more. Be well. And thank you for your kind words.
Sorry misunderstanding ( I am not native English speaker)
My question was about the photographs that you take outside, do you use the darken mode to make the sky blue or it’s just the normal mode ?
Because sometimes it can get overexpose
@@MaKsPuA Oh. I see. The darken feature didn't work for me, but strangely the lighten feature worked. If your images are overexposed then yes, try the darken feature. Yours might be fully functional. May God bless.
Where is part I?
I love your video, can u give a close caption please? since my english is pretty bad. thank youu..
Did you turn off the flash?
For outdoor, yes. Indoor, no, unless stated otherwise. Thanks and be well.
Thank you for the tips 😊
