The guy has the look on his face. "yeah I know everything about Lincoln bro...just give me an offer.".
CARBiNOX b
It’s 2 in the morning and I’m literally laughing so hard at this comment I can’t breathe
lol, it's only for the audience to learn, pawn stars is pretty educational.
Rick is a knowitall.
@@markinnes4264 It's on the History channel. And some people actually like to learn :)
Lincoln himself could be standing in front of Rick and he would still give him a history lesson.
Gentlemen pipe smokers are you dumb
Omg 🤣
Based all his statement Abraham Lincoln was Muslim..many word from him quotes from Quran verse
Lol maybe it's just a running joke but this show is on the history channel, he gives the lesson for the audience not the collector...
@@MrRydoone: I know your comment is 11 months old, but I'm guessing that Abraham Lincoln wasn't Muslim, and I haven't looked up any historical facts about Abraham Lincoln's personal faith, but I do know that we find the term "God" throughout the U.S. Constitution, and I'm certain that our founding fathers referred to Jesus Christ as God and not Allah, and the the early settlers that came from England to America and landed on Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts were all Christians, and not Muslim.
WHAT!? SOMEONE ACTUALLY GOT WHAT HE WAS ASKING FOR???
Impossible
I know
Thats rarer than the lincoln card.
He still got low balled
Jajajajajajaaj I think the same😂😂
Because he still was asking for lower than the card’s actually worth lol that’s why rick didn’t hesitate
I don’t watch for the drama, I watch for the artifacts.
Arjan Sahota same
Mr. Tilt I’m fascinated by history so these relics in the flesh are pretty extraordinary especially this Lincoln piece.
Arjan Sahota who doesn’t
thats why they always have amazing artifacts because the show is staged.
@@dcsportsmark4996 People bring in fakes though, and they do tell them.
Rick laugh sounds like a engine car that won’t start
Juanscum381 a honda civic that wont starr
😂😂😂😂😂
The famous engine car, a completely different thing from a car engine.
Sounds like muttley from lafflympics
Lol
I love how the "expert" sits there trying to authenticate the signature when its already graded by PSA DNA -.-
Matthew Schmidt You think people can't fake a PSA holder?
agreed. and who can say if the people at psa can actually confirm ANY signature as being original. there have been times they were wrong. it's never guaranteed.
PSA is no guarantee. its just a 3rd party opinion.
It looked like one of the known signatures might have been from the same card
Measuring angles with a ruler and not a protractor too, this show can't even fake stuff convincingly.
"Im going to sell the most valuable piece of Lincoln's collection to re-invest in my Lincoln collection"
Possibly the stupidest thing I've heard.
Why. Perhaps he's enjoyed it and wants to pass it to someone else who will. Maybe he's eyeballing something cooler
May sound stupid, but he probably means something else entirely.
Hes probabaly trying to "swap" this one piece for multiple less valuable pieces in the hope that they will become more valuable than this one piece is over time
Maybe he collects Lincoln Co ntinentals.I know!!!I'll bet he wants to use the money to buy the JFK Dallas Lincoln>....
Starting one penny at a time
BADUM TSSS
His Kid: hey dad can i get 20 for my school supplies
Rick: the best i can do is $9.50 and im taking a risk
I have really no guarantee that you're going to do well in school and return my investment so I'm not comfortable giving any more
@@user-ok8yq6nc6x 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭
The best I can do is 5 shiney new pennies and the deeds to Boardwalk and Park Place, and I'm taking all the risks here.
Iron man add a get out of jail free card and I’ll consider
Best I can do is $9.25 and not a penny over
So if I forge his signature and make his “o” at a 45 degree it will be authentic lol
that is if you can mask the rest of the signature perfectly AND get it graded
Just practice the signature everyday 100 times for one year. And you'll get it right...so i heard
I HAVE FORGED A FEW SIGNATURES ON CHECKS AND CASHED THEM OUT MYSELF LIKE A BOSS AND GOT AWAY WITH IT ,,, YOU CAN TURN ME IN IF YOU WANT,,,, PPPPFFFF
Yes
Already in it...
Wow ! Expert can measure Angles using a straight ruler.
Purana Paapi He's only looking for a 45 degree angle. It's pretty easy to eyeball that one with a straight ruler.
DarthOliptius Need a protractor, bro.
true
*protractor makers hate this guy*
@@andreww1212 nah u dont. Straight edge the ruler on the line and angle up.
Wow rick actually offerd the guy his asking price😂
@Spencer7445 _ but now we're talking about big numbers, 100k
Elliot Nieva Has only cause the guy in went 120k afterwards
Yeah, because every pawn shop would offer $100,000 that day, right? 🙄
Cuz hed make 50 thousand or he'll keep it
Hey spoilers 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I guarantee you had the guy started walking away with it, Rick would have offered him the 110k.
Abraham Lincoln is the best. He kills a lot of vampires in his time. He is a vampire hunter.
harwin buenvenida really?
😂😂😂.The train part is the best
Kaizan Pagsisihan Issa movie they made about him hunting vampires and shit
That was a great movie!
One of the best Vampire Killer of all time!
"It's probably worth about 150k"
Rick-" I'll give you $100 and a pawn stars hoodie at most."
Im taking a huge risk here
Do you mean *fourscore and seven (87) dollars ?*
Deal
Or a fake Timex watch
But he gave $100 K instead. You’re joke failed .
You know you're getting scammed when Rick gives you exactly what you asked for. 🤷♂️
Sean M 😆 I know right
S M You bet. No question about it.
And not a penny more!
How is it scamming if you get exactly what you ask for? heck, how is it ever scamming? Everyone knows pawn shops are not where you go to sell things for a good deal.
It's not a scam if the person is aware of the value and what's going on
“Woah... that’s a lot of ‘cents’” - Rick
😂😂😂 - Rick
He sure does crack himself up.
Had Mr Brown signed that picture famously, it would be worth over $100,000
Mr Brown
But think of the risk he's taking
Stfu
Monarchist 18 I feel bad
The Holy Grail of American coins shits all over Mr. Brown.
People really do not understand how business works, if it *might* be worth 150k at the right auction, 100k cash is a very reasonable offer.
If the guy thought he could get more for it without doing a lot of work, he wouldn't have sold it...
Rick most likely paid him with a check. but yes 100k is pretty decent since he will have to pay for fees and his own taxes when he finally sells it.
Yup! it's called easy money
FINALLY. someone that understands
Plus auctions charge you a ton
You can get half a million for that easy. It’s gotta be worth more than a Jordan rookie
Abraham Lincoln:
Pace: 100
Shooting: 100
Attack: 100
Defense: 12
This show should be called
"Let me call my buddy"
The set should be rick next to a phone and that's all
cuddly kitty is he just supposed to know absolutely everything about everything or what? Wow you must be smart. You should open a pawn shop 😂
@@brandonlee5279 You're funny, you should do some stand up.
No it shouldnt
Or “I have no idea what this is worth”
Rick: “Hey, cool parlour card, let’s call Rebecca.” Customer: But this isn’t a book!” Rick: Doesn’t matter, I just wanna see Rebecca!”
Rick wouldn’t have let that walk for another 10k...Guy should’ve stuck to his guns at 110k.
Definitely could have gotten *at least* another 5 grand for it.
True, because it’s obvious Rick wanted it for himself.
Rick: "I'll go 100 grand. Not a 'penny' more."
I love how they replayed the same clip of the customer smirking everytime it proved in his favor.
Like tim and eric
I like the way Rick laughs, it reminds me how the car engine starts in winter😂
Man i love episodes where big money is involved and especially when they make a deal and bye the expensive items. God i love this show
i love watching the people listen to him spew facts when in reality they dont care and they're trying their best to keep calm😂
I like alot of these videos and enjoy the historical value, but this one I absolutely love. Sooo cool
WOW! that signature is nice!
I like how Rick started telling him all about Lincoln and you could tell the guy was getting irritated. He already knew everything about it
I will do *$5 dollars* and not a penny more.
jesshaskicks I gotta make a profit here... you know what I’ll throw in 50 cents and a handshake
jesshaskicks 5.001 then...
jesshaskicks I see what u did there
Overused joke is overused
@@MrIcaru5 u mad?
Customer: This is worth $1000000

Taste The Rainbow but he didn’t this time, so your joke isn’t funny
Trill Jesse its still funny
'Lincoln' came out on Netflix yesterday..... go watch it. Daniel Day Lewis is amazing.
Yeah, I heard it was pretty good.
thanks for saying this, I will definitely watch it
Chuck Keough hi is it a series or the movie?
Tommy Hammernots don't be rude jerk
thanks for the headsup
Can you imagine going to buy groceries and the cashier start telling you the history of your food “ the first burger was flipped in 1472 in mr brooks backyard,...
I always laugh when these guys go on to their monologues and rant it out while the clients just smile and listen.
that smirk the guy had "man I really faked that good"
That card will sell for 2 million on Sotheby's auction. Abraham Lincoln signatures are only in museums.
Why did he sell that?!?
because it was staged ?
@Eden Beaver Ahh, I understand now
@Neil H.G. Does the cheating on his wife thing make him a perv or that he slept with some man-whores?
Not true. I've seen his autograph on sports cards made by Topps
@@johnbruce4003 those are prints, and infinitely common. Pieces hand-signed by Lincoln himself are literally a billion times rarer.
Had several of those as a kid from my great grandpa, I used them with clothes pins on my bike spokes. I used some little BB cards on the back, mostly all crisp Honus Wagner as I recall.
Lol wtf
That was a score for everyone. Was fun to watch. Great video
He litterally just said that because the "O" is slanted it's authentic...that's it...
Austin Hightower .. it was already verified by PSA anyway
I always make sure I use oval 45 degree Os while forging Lincoln.
So what would you look for when authenticating it then?
for real
Its an edited show, Im sure it was more in depth than that Einstein
I need that $100,000 right about now
why
ajh90210 I need it too really need it :(
Don't.We.All.
I love ricks laugh
Rick's laugh on his own jokes makes it more funny than the joke 😂😂😂😂
Rick's laugh tho 😂😂🤣 never gets old
That's the nicest Lincoln signature in existence.
The card is already psa graded lol the expert didnt need to verify the signature.
He called him for knowing the price..
PSA has a population of fake forgery slabbed in cases....also counterfeit sportscards slabbed in cases. case in point is steve grad who formerly worked for PSA and on this show pawn stars. steve validated a signature on a godfather screenplay with "Al" signed on it thinking it was Al Pacino but in fact it was the director name Al. also PSA is just a 3rd party "opinion". a collectors faith in PSA is what you base the authenticity of the signature off of. no way the signature is 100% fool proof as PSA is just a 3rd party opinion. its always good to get opinions from different experts in the field.
Owner: Here is the last parlor card of Abraham Lincoln that is signed
Rick: Best I can give you is a penny
I love how Rick refers to these ancient dates as if he was there lmao old head.
The best I can do is a $5 Dunkin doughnuts gift card 😂
Sorry buddy, but the best I can offer is a piece of gum and a jar of peanut butter
TMarvels you re just a begger
Deal!
Deal !!!
Deal!
Stfu
When he told him $100k, that look on his face LMAOOOO, gets me every time.
Living the dream. How much of our history goes thru the pawn shop. Doing that job would be a slice of heaven.
Customers facial Expression Said: "here we go again with the Lectures" 2:14
Why don't people just take it to auction and put a reserve on it? Surely its better than letting Rick rip you off.
Peanut Butter because auctions can also low ball you too. Say two people want an item. The item is work 100k. One had 30, and the other had 31. They will fight but the 31 k will win so you lose value. Plus auction tax. You’ll see like 21 k of it
Rick is giving you 100k cash, right there
But at least you find the items true value and not letting Rick rip you off
One of my favorite pawn stars videos
The smirk the guy gives 😂😂 3:34
That’s a lot of cents queue“ engine trying to start laugh “
Seller: i want 100k for it
Rick: best i can do is give you a pat on your back
I love your show ,and I love antiques.
This episode is the rarest episode ever! Somebody took how much wanted?! Wooow :)
wouldn't have even thought about 100 would have stayed firm at 120
Yeah he really wanted it
And you wouldn't have sold it.
The appraiser said at a high end action it could be worth 150k remember high end actions take 20% or more. so 20% of 150k = 30k so now the pawn shop only made 20k
Prepper Todd Yes but me personally with something like that and it's historical value you could easily find buyers you wouldn't need an auction that would make it easier but I'd be in no rush to sell it as the value goes up more every year
HunterShows Wouldn't sell it you're right I wouldn't have sold it because I would have never walked into that shop but sadly it isn't mine
Good business $100,000 is fair in my opinion🍻
Danny Ortiz not even close he shouldve atleast gotten 120k he did a bad negotiation or shouldve just waited for another buyer
That's a lot more work though. Going out and looking for a buyer. It may not even get 150k, that's just an estimate.
he asked for 100k and got it. good biz
Pay a 25% auction fee and it may not even go for 150k. 100 grand was a good deal.
If its worth around 150k selling it to a merchant for 100k is pretty fair. If you bringt it to an auction yourself you have to pay commision, insurance and other stuff. And if very few people are interested in the item, you could get significantly less than the estimated value. The thing is, he wouldve probably found a better private offer, just because of the exposure by this show.
Rick be havin seizures when he ain't rippin ppl off lmao
3:37 the guy looled like .. Yes they believed me lol
I would love to see an episode where customers buy things from the shop
They will resell that for $150k easy. The guy should have shopped around more especially after what the expert said. At the right auction is could easily fetch upwards of $175k
30% auction fee then Uncle Sam hits him hard.. 100k cash much better for the seller.
Insane piece
Of course...i always go to a pawn shop to sell...LOL
“How much does it worth”
-Rick
I'd pay him with pennies. Maybe a couple of fives, too.
I love the face Rick makes at the beginning of the negotiation. Trying to act uninterested
I went to Indianaplis for a field trip and I got to go in a president's old house and Lincon wrote him a note and I got to see his handwriting and everything it was so cool!
He doesn’t want a history lecture Rick
I wouldn't of sold it.
wouldn't have*
Jesus christ, and I'd bet you're a native speaker as well..
Όμως πρέπει να μιλάμε σωστά.
Lennox Xonnel haha omg don't put yourself on a pedestal buddy. We hate all of you foreigners; you're all the same to us
ohhhhh you're one of those? well congratulations on correcting my grammar. you must of been that loser in school too busy contemplating about shooting it up that you missed out on the part in History or social studies class saying that USA is a melting pot of ethnicities. loser...you started a completely irrelevant argument to the video. go sit down somewhere homeboy you might get beat up.
And i got 7 likes, little bitch.
That is a fantastic piece. I'd love to have that.
Dude sounds like Eric andre 🤣 when I didn't see his face at first I was confused haha
nobody even commented on the fact that it was Psa/Dna certified
ROFL the so called expert measures the angle by the help of a ruler. Does he even know there is a thing called protractor to measure angles.😂 🤣
rnzb wow that's called cringe on your part
PL0T0 how? I’m lost
rnzb by having a long straight edge to connect the two points of the O, it is much easier to see the angle. Also, try using a protractor on someone’s handwriting. It is a little too be to be useful. ;)
Sean Ranelli I think he means what the original commenter commented is what people call cringe. (BASICALLY THE ORIGINAL COMMENTER CRINGED)
I have worked angles in mechanical work....I gets the sight and way of angles....
Rick trying to explain that guy some stuff he just googled was hilarious, bloke was trying not to laugh.
This dudes head shakes are cracking me up lol
Best i can do is tree fiddy
…and fourscore and seven pence :P
“If I sell the card, I am going to reinvest in my Lincoln collection” ummmm ok
I’ll pay you then you can pay the IRS...😂😂🤣🤣
3:50 he’s like JACKPOT
That guy looks at Rick like.. "I'm gonna get so much money from you"
I think this might be the first time I've seen Rick offer a fair price for something 😯
WOW! That is an amazing photograph!
the look on this guys face is epic lol ..
That's a fair price considering an auction would have wanted 30% (45k) - I'm sure Rick will get a better split from whatever Auction House he goes with - more around the 20% so 30k - meaning Rick gets to make 20k.
I like how the guy says "he is a Lincoln collector" and Rick proceeds to give him a history lesson of Lincoln.
He's like "stop explaining these things to me, I'm an expert."
This is Pawn Stars.
And this!
Is the best i can do...
Did you know that I can find the height of a person using a protractor. And the angle of elevation using a ruler
He probably bought it for 20 bucks
A Lincoln signature? Do u even know who Lincoln was and how rare his signature is?
My guess is he got it for about 10K in the late 90's which is outrageous....
i love their family bond
A. Lincoln not just the greatest American but one of the finest human being ever to walk on the face of the earth. RIP
Dudes checking if it's fake bruh it's psa graded 🤦🏻♂️
PSA isn’t perfect...Go Google them along with PWCC on eBay..
“Worth 150 grand , I think 120,000 is a fair price”
Rick: *the best I can do is 20 bucks and a snicker bar*
HD Tigerrr then Rick changes his mind and eats the snickers bar.
These type of follow the leader comments are getting so ridiculous
Wow what a find
That was a crazy find for both of them.
