In this clip, Doug Williams addressed his previous statement about the Black struggle and the gay struggle not being comparable. He explained that some people who previously identified as gay have later come out to say they're no longer gay due to religious or other reasons. When people compare the lgbt struggle with the black struggle they think they mean exactly the same when it just means some similarities. Of course there are major differences and the black struggle will always be the one who struggled the most but the similarities are that both have been discriminated against, beaten, killed, and imprisoned unfairly. The major difference is that there was no slavery for the lgbt struggle and there is no closet to hide in for being black. In the end it's just comparing and contrasting.
