During the Royal era of Nawabs, their cooks ( Bawarchis ) used to cook food them. Those Bawarchis of the Nawabs are credited for the finesse of the cuisine that they developed, especially the technique of slow cooking, the wide range of kebabs, kormas, biryani,parathas, kulchas and many more.
Inorder to please the Nawabs with different dishes, these type of dishes eg. Andea ka halwa, Lahsun ki kheer, Mahi seekh kebab, Adrak ka halwa,Chukander-e-Afroz, Neem ka halwa and many more came into existence.
By the way what is that "choqander e afroz" and how do you make it? Is there any recipe available ?

Yeh sab dishes bante the mere yahan ab thoda kam ho gaya hai modern life me.
Ek aur nayab dish awadhi cuisine se - gosht ka halwa.
Matlab is bareeki se ustadon ne ise develop kiya hai.
Khana ka right balance to Pehle hi master kar chuke the Yeh log uske baad Yeh log ankhon se khelne lage.
Mirch ka halwa, lehsun ki kheer, malai gilori, gosht halwa, daadi ma kebab. Jo dekhne me kuch aur khane me kuch aur.
Bahut hi behtareen peshkash bhai. Kaafi time baad sach me kuch nayab dekhne ko mila.

سلام و علیکم جناب دیکھتا تو آپ کو مدتوں سے ہوں لیکن کمنٹ کبھی شاید ایک دفعہ ہی کیا تھا آپ کے اس وی لاگ کو دیکھا بہت عمدہ لکھ اس لیے رہا ہوں کے میرے بڑے یعنی پڑنانا راولپنڈی شہر کے میونسپل کمشنر اور آنریری مجسٹریٹ تھے اور دعوتیں وغیرہ روز کا معمول تھا میرے والد صاحب نے بہت کچھ سیکھا اپنے نانا سے کھانوں اور مختلف مصالحوں کے بارے میں اور پھر ہمیں بھی سکھایا ان کو ایک بات کا دکھ تھا کے پڑنانا میٹھے میں پیاز کی فرنی بناتے تھے بس وہ نہ سیکھ سکے اور اس بات کا اکثر ذکر کرتے تھے آج مرچی کا حلوہ سنا تو اپنے والد مرحوم کی وہ بات اور حسرت یاد آگئی کے شاید دنیا میں کسی نہ کسی کو یہ نسخہ معلوم ہو؟

Baki sab ka halwa thik hai. Par onion, garlic and neem ka banana nahi chahiye kyunki uski sari medicinal qualities chali jati hai
