- Plaguebringer is actually the highest damage build I have used. It allows for just crazy DoT damage scaling and is so satisfying to watch your enemies melt This is a stabbo-Clawbringer build but can be achieved with other multi-classes. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

Awesome vid! was sweet seeing this stuff happen live. I started to run a melee version of this with the ragnarok melee weapon because the little projectiles it fires always proc its status effect. its nice to shoot guys from a distance and then not having to take any time at all to melee at them and have the projectile proc both loghtning (oath of thunder) and whatever element your melee is.

so the damage is basically a similar interaction that happened with bore and hyperius' shield on bl2. Just bounces back and forth a bunch of times stacking insane damage. love the builds

I LOVE dots and status effect builds. This os exactly how I wanted to play.
My prob is, ill play for a week, get to lvl 30, then re roll and start all over lol. It's a gaming issue I've had. Thus causes burn out.

This build works okay, you definitely want to stack as much status damage as you can, closer to 150 is where you see stuff melt. Unfortunately, enemies don’t group together very well solo so you can have mixed results.
I am using slapping salmon for guaranteed poison proc currently but caustic and echo would be a much better choice. I am using a poison and frost cross blade for mobs and white rider for boss with a live wire for shields. Poison/cyro crossblade works well because you get all 5 damage types on it if you use a lightning buffmeister. For enchants, I am using +50% spell cooldown on action skill start, dark magic damage on action skill active, and I forget the other two. Really helps the uptime on the buffmeister. Luckily I rolled a chaotic one today so it’s been working out quite nice. I only have the +2 contagion Corrupted Platemail currently but once I find the nicer one I’m sure I could push more numbers. I went from C3 to C20 today with this build.
I've actually been kidof working on a DoT damage gear for a few days now. It's not nearly as refined as your set but it still amazes me how fast it can melt groups of enemies

Getting those is basicly a one-in-a-lifetime lucky roll. Almost all streamers get those items from "good samaritans" viewers, and lets just say, not all of them they got with a legit way.
@@user-uq8rf7ks8h OOO, ok, after you tell me that, its obvious and basicli legit becaus without class mod, a lot of build can t existe.
Indeed - it's imposible for casual players to farm and get even a decently rolled COM. Countless hours of farming and zero good legendary COMs for my first build. Over a hundred legendary COMs, none with the right class combination and type.
@@julianmorel8538 to be fair he's be consistently showing how the builds function with NO classmod or the supergodrollopitem for a while now and its usually...still prettttty good for chaos 35

i really like to use the melee that summons snakes with this kind of build you can hit an enemy a few times and as long as the snakes stays they kill everything in the room, so you can rush threw maps
This is dope! I just switched to a BrrZerker-Stabbo status effect build & it shreds elites.
This Is definitely the best stabbomancer build I've tried! I'm missing a few perfect rolls but I'm still spanking mobs and bosses pretty hard
Having the +8 wisdom from choosing alchemist at the start is amazing, with +10 from myth ranks and +10% from doing all shrines gets you 52 wisdom given you +84% status damage combining that with the 20% status damage from 5/5 potent poisons give you 104% status damage without factoring in gear at all.
84% ? Mine is at like 76, did that got nerfed or what ?

@@waxxle1095 I haven't played in awhile to know if the build still works. You can't see your total combined stats you have to add together every source to find out.

I tried this with graveborn/clawbringer before clawborn was buffed/nerfed and didn’t care for it went to dead shot and never looked back, super stoked to grind this one out
All I’ve used since the game started is the clawstalker it is my absolute favorite build and this one is around exactly what I’ve been using

i feel like a companion damage and/or melee damage build could be interesting using the snake stick, feriore guns, and that armor that extends hydra time, be the snake king

I think you may have under sold how effective the crossblade is with this build, I got a base crossblade and went from doing really well in chaos 35 to one shotting everything
I commented a while back that you could make a killer status build with stabbomancer/clawbringer. This is similar to the build I used. I mentioned it bc a guy was saying he couldn't get a good build out of his clawbringer main
I tested a similar build with Jolting empowering sigil and you can pop from the shadows and just stand there proc damage on the boss for a kill. I did this with berzerker and stabbo.
the holy hand grenade spell is actually insane for this build.

Took me a while to get the +3 contagion chest, but once I did, it changed the game. This build got me to chaos 35, and now that I have refined it with gear (try a ruby's spite by the way) I am deleting bosses & mobs. I did so much damage to goobathoth that I glitched him out and he disappeared, making me not be able to complete the dungeon, lol.
Does the diamondguard sword special effect (melee attacks deal random elemental damage and increase your status effect application chance and status effect damage by 10% for 10 seconds) work with executioner's blade?
Claw armor on a blight graveborn in poison is so nasty, especially since you have 2 skills that buff magic and your pixies can proc dark damage on companion skill.
Interesting that you didn't enjoy the Bonecarver as much for this, I'm the complete opposite and it's been my favourite class for the Contagion build. If you ever revisit it, try a Frost Sigil with Livewire and go more melee focused with a poison Spellblade. It has some pretty crazy interactions from my testing.

Tbh my endskill from the Stabomancer tree does not work at all. It should use the dmg and the effect from my melee weapon, but it never procs. I tested it in many situations and even switching the melee weapon to see the effect, but it won’t proc. What am I doing wrong ?

@Moxsy I know you said in the video you played around with other classes but I'm curious how this performed with Spore Warden and Play the Angles. Since Corrupted Platemail creates 2 bullets that carry elements, it gives 2 chances for ricochet proc from PtA but I'm not sure if they can actually spread the status effects. You lose Executioner's Blade but I know PtA can have it's own crazy interactions.

Yes. It the higher your damage when the dot procs the better
It increases the base dot which increases the contagion dot starting point. Fewer steps to get from where the dot starts and this crazy damage you’re seeing here.
Seems like clawbringer is really good for dual classing i got a spore bringer for ability damage and its pretty
Very similar to the Clawstalker melee build I've been running this whole time, but definitely looks to perform better with guns >.>.
Man, I'm really having trouble getting some of these great class mod roles. I've done extended chaos runs at 35 and just can never get them from the bunny's. I'm also not buff enough to take out the raid guys at 35. Any tips?
There’s a few mission reward unique red text melee weapons that work great with this setup on C35. One that says it applies a fire status with each hit. The Goblin’s Bane & another that the red text is something like “this is my house…”…with the word house in blue. That one wrecks. My volatile one does 1600.
That the paladins sword if i remember it rightly, I remember seeing the house of leaves reference and immediately never wanting to part with it lol
Game developers should hire people like Moxsy to get paid to break the game like this.
Would it be possible to use this with a cold sigil instead of the buffmeister? I know the sigils generally have a 60% or higher of proccing their DoT. That way, even if you're not shooting there is still a proc chance?
I'm not sure if Diamondguard Sword can roll with Caustic on it, but that would be 80% status effect chance and damage at 5 stacks(Diamondguard is 10% per stack per melee attack, 5 stacks) AND it deals random elemental damage on melee attack.
This is what I have but without the caustic on it... Cant tell if it's better though.

Has this been patched? I can't get this to trigger on any bosses at all, not even the pre chaos bosses.
Laserhand gives a garuntee critical hit on full spell charge. And does massive damage. Should try it on thjs
Why are you not using the "Dragon Knight's Pandemecium of Vivid Futures" to get the poison explosion procs?
So would the live wire brake this because it already chains to mobs? So could contagion proc for every hit that chains to an enemy from the live wire or does contagion only work for the first enemy you shoot?
It can definitely pop off from the live wire spread. Once in a blue moon I’ll melee something and the whole screen dies. Rare though, the white rider is more solid for killing things when this crazy interaction doesn’t happen, which is most of the time.
Man I been looking for any class mod with contagion and after at least two weeks of farming I’ve never seen one that had more then one point in it. And I need to try to find a corrupted plaitmail… these class mod RNG is insane
Do I need to have the equipment in hand to get the effects it brings? I.e if I had a secondary pistol that gives +20% status damage, do I need to have that in my hands to have the effects or can I have a different weapon out?
So I have this build and when I use a pixie gun and I hit shadows after laying down a bunch of dots everything dies does contagious transfer to the pixie or is it the echo hitting everything
I love this idea. I was also hoping to see a devoted companion build; im not sure what classes to choose for that
Def spore warden I’d say
Graveborn, Spore boy, and Claw all have skills that help companions if that helps you get started. Although from what I saw when starting this exact thing. Spore boy and graveborn seem to have stronger ones than claw
My companion build is graveborn stabbomancer you get 8-10 pets on the ground for max dmg go invisible and spec heavy into dark magic and get a class mod that converts all companion dmg to dark magic. Pets hit for a 1mil per shot and my pets shoot two projectiles so 100 × 1mil. That's with hydras not pixies or guns with wings.
for a pet build id definitely go baseline graveborn imo, using graveborn buffs with a sporewarden shroom ive had hit BONKERS numbers for even just while leveling lol
Would running the Frying Pan or anything with the Caustic Melee ability work with executioners blade to add a nearly constant 30% status effect chance and damage?
The blade procs all 'on melee' item/enchants... But isn't frying pan only phys? If so you are missing an element for dots on this build.
Can we see the grave born side of things for this build? I just don’t know what to spec into for graveborn with this if I don’t use the claw bringer or even the brrrzerker

The Wisdom Myth rank says nothing about increasing status effect CHANCE, only DAMAGE. So unless GB left it out of the description (not a remote possibility), you are only getting a damage boost, not an increased change of PROC'ing a status effect. That said, the boosts you are getting from the Twin Soul and other sources seem to be enough, regardless of what the real % increase is.

I find it entertaining that I've been talking about elemental stacking since you put out volt viper and it's just NOW getting attention lol, the only thing I didn't get was adding more contagion since I have a +3 awe deathless

Every build with ridiculous damage numbers I've seen is using stabbomancer.
It usually goes "INSANE (classname) BUILD" and then just specs primarily into stabbomancer.
Did you try Rainbolt spell? It says on hit it applies a random status effect to target
I’ve tried it, the reality is that this interaction is still pretty rare and buffmeister is infinitely better to make the build strong even when it doesn’t go infinite. If you put all your eggs in that basket it’s a bad time.
Does executioners blade proc follow up or shadow step? I didn't think it did, or are you relying on an melee swing attack to proc them for extra damage?
I know it procs nimble fingers. It's been tested. Idk why he is using shadow step or follow up unless he is actually swinging melee weapon or using clawbringer action skill

Cant seem to get it to proc the huge numbers, it clears consistantly but my boss damage is meh. Am i missunderstanding that it needs to be a group to do better or will it self "spread" woth the bosses? Have all the gear, over 100% status effect damage. I only have a +2 to contagion though :/

So do you need contagion at LVL 6 at least for this to work? For whatever reason this isn't working for me, mind you I'm playing stab/spore but my status damage is around 108% when buffed.

for me, i have 28% status effect dmg from potent poison (7/5), 52% from hero points, and another 25% from an amulet, so the total is above 100%. i still dont get the proc for instant melting bosses/enemies though. i have 3/3 on contagion, is that probably why?
Yeah, even at 6/3 you’re basically flipping a coin and hoping to get heads 20 times in a row. At 30% chance you’re pretty much never going to see this interaction go nuts. Even at 6/3 it’s pretty rare. Whole build is about getting that coin to flip as many times as possible and hoping for a miracle.
that's why you want as many status effects as possible too increase the number of coins that flip at the same time increasing the chance of those extreme procs
@@lizardking6501 True, and that does increase your odds, but the way this works anything that increases your initial dot's size is going to improve your odds more than multiple statuses that are smaller because the odds of flipping heads 10 times in a row are essentially infinitely better than doing it 50 times in a row. Both help, just a matter of priority.
How long does it take (on average) to farm specific gear like the +3 contagion corrupted plate? I’m farming it like forever and the best I could find was a +2 armor. 🙈

“Get status effect damage over 100%” can someone clarify if all status bonuses are flat? So if i have 4 pieces of gear that give me “+30% status damage” does that mean i have +120% status damage total? meaning i am over 100% status damage?

You can make a good melee build with brr-claw
It's nice that this works with clawbringer, but I do think berzerker would just be better. You already do bonus fire damage from body rune, so the bonus fire damage from clawbringer's skill is redundant. So all you're getting is the lightning bonus damage only on melee damage, aura, and the orbs.
With berzerker you'd get bonus frost damage on everything (compared to bonus lightning on melee only), ice breaker, and honestly I think this would work well going into the movement speed stuff as well by dropping the melee attack stuff and arsenal (even though arsenal is obviously really good too, but I think the movement speed synergy is better). I think ice breaker and the movement speed damage increase would be better overall than dragon aura and melee attack stuff.
But I'm assuming you didn't want to do another stabbo/berserker build since you just did one already, which is understandable.
The melee attack stuff is honestly one of the best ways of scaling damage thanks to executioners blade, not to mention that this is also effectively a melee build if you want it to be, and a very good one at that, also Clawbringer is a better pick since you can get all 5 status effects without relying on the shield allowing you to run Cursed Wit for even more bonus damage while still keeping up all 5 elements, this build is extremely versatile and I’ve been running it for awhile, you can do extremely well at range and with melee, raid bosses die extremely fast to either approach.
I’m still working on your sporesplosion build I’m hitting for 100 k damage sick of trying to no max it can’t get the class item I’m 200 plus hrs in trying I just want to do something different and fun and strong as shit what class should I start over with I love the sporewarden for mobbing but bossing kinda sucks with what I have

rainbolt is good for debuffing before going for the dot
I just can't get a Cultist Corrupted Platemail, I am farming so long for one that I am pretty sure I've seen every version of the platemail except a cultist variant

With how rare this interaction is even when optimized I don’t think it’s actually broken. You still have to be pretty lucky to see this hit the numbers in the video. Thankfully it’s strong anyway, but you’re not going to see hundreds of millions most of the time.
