Here is one. Create affordable nursing or assisted living facility homes for retirees. This way boomers can move to the country you are in and pay rent to you. Also retiree living centers
That is the best idea I have ever heard. also they will get loving and qttentive care in certain countries whereas they run the risk of abuse and neglect here.
You need a TON of capex and it’s a very concentrated business in richer countries (USA, Switzerland, for example). In 3rd world countries there may be market space but to attract walthy infividuals you still need to create top-tier structures, so you still need to shell out a lot of money.
This is already as massive business sector in Thailand/ph

You “stole” my idea! Yes, it is a particularly good idea given the aging US/European population and lack of younger people to potentially work as caregivers.
I have an educational writing, courseware, and app company; it does well. We have more than 200 writers, educators, and coders. It takes time to create contacts, but the costs are relatively low...I wish my clients did pay more regularly, though, but they do always pay, and I guess that's the most important thing.
As a general rule I keep this in mind when thinking of new business ideas: "The person who sells to the person driving a rolls royce rides the subway and the person who sells to the person riding the subway drives a rolls royce". More millionaires per capita, would most likely be billionaires when accounting for inflation, were created during the US great depression than during any other time in US history and in the majority of cases they were dealing with everyday consumers as their main customer base.
Gotta know local culture. Americans starting business in Mexico report having to sell out due to organized crime extortion.
I’m guessing “gotta stay busy” recovering Entrepreneurs struggle with boredom just checking their brokerage balances each morning.
Some of us just like having a little empire. Having people interested in our opinions because we pay them to.

Subway here in Colombia doesn't do well because the ingredients for sandwiches are very expensive for the typical Colombian. Therefore, they don't have the deli/sandwich culture that we do in the US.
Expat Networking Event - just find a bar, reserve a private area , setup an EventBrite account and send out email invites for people from your home country, great way to meet people and firms who are naturaly aligned towards you

I've commented before that your videos have been a great starting point of information on living and banking overseas. Now, if you offered a book on "overpricing your service as a marketing tool while bragging about how wealthy you are getting" I would buy it and happily pay $25.

I think the best business for you is the one that engages your passions and the things you enjoy doing. Just about anything can be packaged somehow and sold on the internet if not offline. There is no need to postpone doing what you love for the sake of making money because you can find a way to make money from what you love. So why hustle now and wait for retirement to do the things you love when you can do them now. If money isnt that great you can supplement with other work, live frugally, save, and invest in income generating assets in different places around the world. Keep doing this and soon you'll have wealth from living a life you love. Start today!

Norway takes migrants and so called Refugees from Middle East and Africa who in the long run will never "Fit in". Note Wealthy Gulf Arab Countries like Kuwait or Qatar do not take Refugees including Muslims ones. I think Norway and Scandinavian countries are very Generous

I definitely am in this boat. It would be really hard to be a psychologist outside the US, UNLESS, you are doing telehealth services (but then, I am still subject to US income tax and US laws regarding licensure). So there's really no savings there.

Hey Andrew, what's the best tax free, best healthcare country to live in during WW3 breaks out? Please mention a country with greenery, so that, we could cultivate farm land.
If you're actually worried about a possible WW3 scenario, you may as well pick whatever country appeals to you, because everywhere would be fucked in those circumstances. Just pick any country with adequate health care, and stay away from major population centers, or any town that would be in the path of someone going from a major population center to major population center. Think rural villages. Which, kind of makes healthcare an issue. Unfortunately, the US is probably going to be your best bet in terms of likelihood of being in danger from fighting.
@@aaronself2411 I am thinking that Thailand wouldn't be a bad choice. Inexpensive but competent medical care that's affordable. Which has plenty of mountain farm land near Chang Mai.
Uruguay in South America. Or Brazil. These had parts of the country without lockdown and are friendly with Russia and US.

I researched this a lot and came to the conclusion that the rural parts of Loja in Ecuador was the best choice.
In the Philippines, it's the Jollibee Food Group which I think would be interesting to export their brands to other countries with lots of overseas Filipino workers as a starting reference point.
I found it interesting when you were talking about the difference between an investor and an entrepreneur. I work a full-time job here in the US, but I have extensive real estate investments that cash flow and I would probably maintain those investments in the US if I was to move outside of the country. Keeping that in mind I would be operating my business/investments outside the US but they would be physically located inside the US so how do I go about getting tax benefits in that sort of scenario?

I'm currently in Albania for the 2nd time, it's pretty 'spit and sawdust', i.e underdeveloped. It doesn't bother me but it might some people. Was quoted 250 Euros from a lawyer to do all the legal visa stuff which was worth it to me. Nice weather, cheap and the people are friendly enough.

Have you had any experience in investing or opening a business there. What part of the county are you located. I have mainly visited the Capital and the south a few times.
From outside, it looks like Albania ticks more boxes compared to the rest of the region(i.e Serbia, North Macedonia), however figures show that Albina is not the most favorite spot in the Balkans for some reasons. Not sure why though.
Aside from businesses serving fellow expats, I would almost suggest businesses that fill in itch that maybe otherwise unfilled. Example while I'm building up my business projects here in the states I work for a lady that I'm friends with as a freelancer with her locally owned and operated restaurant delivery service. There are about a dozen of us on average between the busiest days of the week and usually about three or four of us most of the rest of the time that are on and we cover about 120 restaurants in a pretty restaurant-friendly Market

There is no way the opportunity cost of making these types of videos are truly netting anything good. I mean this as a long time sub and entrepreneur. This feels like crazy town seeing so many repetitive videos out of so many tubers these days....
You have a platform with the ability to connect tens of thousands of people together on an international scale. Wouldnt it be more advantageous to pursue those leads and make videos about forming better business relationships? Rather than continue solo op eds and book promos....

Avoid Europe as it is a future warzone. Try South America or New Zealand.
