#mountainbiking #squamish #adaptive - Sport
Very impressive! I've been pretty much bed ridden for the past four years because of severe multiple sclerosis and this video gave me hope and energy. The tracks you have chosen are really difficult and take a lot of guts to do them. I used to go mountain biking too in the Como area in Italy. I am a 56 yo woman but there's a teenager trapped inside me wanting to be wild again. A big hug!
😁🤗😉
If you're not smiling from watching this check your heart for a pulse. That was AWESOME!
Couldn't agree more!
Pulse says 210 yeah no problem
@@remymetaillerTHERE ARE ONLY 2 WHEELS ON THE BIKE.
His living the dream and loving every single minute and so he should. Seeing him happy and smiling definitely made my day
I agree, very impressive
as someone in a wheelchair it was super dope to see you guys help him! Things like this are beautiful to see man. You're an amazing friend!
This is one of the main reasons I've been watching Remy for years. He's just not a phenomenal rider, but he's a very thoughtful guy. I'm certain this wasn't just for content, but Remy doesn't think twice about including everyone with his passion for riding.
In case you missed the French humor it's @12:36 😊
Just awesome dude!
Skinny sections are sometimes fun, but we might need to start really pushing for bypasses for adaptive bikes. Any way to make awesome trails accessible to all adventurers is a bonus for everyone
The smile on Cole's face says everything about this ride. This was COOL AF!
So solid. Watching literal progression happening. Cole is a legend.
Huge respect for Cole. Thanks for publishing. I hope we see more content with bikers like you Cole getting out and enjoying the trails.
that was epic to watch! can't believe how hard he shreds on that thing! super inspiring!
Glad you enjoyed it!
When the impossible, becomes possible! @ Cole, absolutely mental riding skills on your rig man….@ Remy, showcasing the love of MTB… Beyond inspiring👊👊
That is really sick!!! Such a nice people loving this sport and helping each other! Very good work, Remy! :)
Thanks so much!!
This was one of the most inspiring things for me personally that I've seen in a very long time! I grew up riding mountain bikes and have loved everything about the sport for as long as I can remember. But after developing CRPS/complex regional pain syndrome (the world's most painful disease) in my early 20's, I can now barely walk around my house, let alone even think of getting out on a mountain bike ever again. A huge dream of mine is to simply ride again some day. I've followed Bowhead for a while now and they're making mountain biking so much more accessible, I would do anything to own a Bowhead Reach and achieve that dream of someday riding a bike again. Sadly, being disabled is expensive enough without trying to find the money for such an amazing piece of kit. So unfortunately, for now, and likely forever, that will have to remain a dream.
But Cole, you absolutely smashed it out there, as I say, so incredibly inspiring for me!! And Rémy, I've been a fan of yours for a long time anyway, but to see you making your channel totally inclusive with videos like these means a heck of a lot to me and I'm sure to many others, it brings me hope when I don't necessarily get a lot of hope these days, so thank you very much!!
No way man! I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I actually got CRPS at 19 and have just about every treatment you can imagine- but I can balance- just not put any pressure on my feet so I am able to ride an ebike- I gotta take it slow but im optimistic- I pray you find a way to ride sometime again too!
Just one word to say "IMPRESSIVE". In all kind of ways!
Cole is absolutely shredding. Wow!
It was great meeting you guys out on the trail! Cole sending it. So sick!
Thanks for the help!
I'm once more so impressed of those stunning trails. On my blacktrails in Germany I think Cole would definitely need no help. I love bike-builds, but actually they're all the same. Would love to see a bike build of this 3-wheel bike or a video with an explanation of key-features.
Wow! Wow! Wow! That was epic and inspirational! I’d love to see how Cole nails it again after a few practice runs and knowing the lines before hand. Thanks guys, I know the camera doesn’t do justice to how steep that was. Respect! 💪 😊
Thank you for bringing attention to the need for accessibility trails. Awesome video. Awesome riders.
Wow what an an amazing company bowhead is helping disabled people get out on the trails and FairPlay to Remy and the other guy Making sure CB is safe
Man, Cole has some skills and cahones, those were some sick trails, not being able to "get back" on those steep slabs must be a very funky feeling to get used to, was a pleasure to watch. Those Bowhead bikes are amazing and you can really see that Cole was a skilled & courteous MTBer before he had to move to one, careful with his use of the accelerator, trying to keep trail damage to a minimum. Curious how he's running that FBR, pressure and insert or no? Seemed like maybe he could drop some pressure and maybe gain a bit of traction for the looser stuff/climbs.
Cole's so rad. He dropped by at Sea Otter a couple years ago & we talked for a while. Super nice, down to earth guy who rips.
I love this. I am a new shubriber from last week. I am handicap and have a terminal illness *Conjestive heart failure* but I maintain a good attitude and love living vicariously through the MTB community. It's times like this that really highlight the positive vibes and good will of the comunity. Glad, I found your channel as well as al the ones, I've seen. Keep up the good work. It's lifts my spirits in the time I have left.
Mtb is really for everyone no exemption, respect 💪💪💪
This is rad
Cole clearly has incredible skilz and big brass.... And great design on his bike as well! Seems stable with all the weight carried really low - I couldn't believe how much brake control he had on the huge slabs of In-N-Out! Thanks for sharing his riding with us Remy, it's really inspirational.
Cole seeing the in and out view, straight in the feels! Good job guys!
Inspiring stuff. So good to see that equipment like this exists.
Thx you for the upload, I'll be smiling for the rest of the day because of this!
Thats pretty sick , dudes just sending it down gnarly terrain. Definitely an awesome thing that the bowhead exists and hopefully trail builders will keep them in mind .
Would love to go for a ride with cole. Great vid man.
That was sooooo coooool!! You guys are absolute legends! That adaptive bike is so awesome, I'm really impressed with it's capability. The places it can fit, the terrain it can take on, the power it delivers... Wow! I don't have injuries like Cole, but I'd dam sure like a go of his bike! ❤🧡💛
Yes, Yes. So inspiring. Bravo. I'm an old guy that bought a Yamaha Super Tennere Adventure bike. I have been exploring single track riding. This is how to live guys. Hope everyone finds their way to try something bigger than them self.
Wow! Absolutely stunning. Thank you both for this epic ride.
At 21:15, Remy says, ”Ok Stop Stop”. He means “grab a handful of those Dominions”. And he really meant it. Great video!
SPEECHLESS ...
AWESOME ...
EPIC ...
They both gelled immediately Nice ...
👍👍👍
All I need to know about life and how to live it I can learn from this incredible man. Warms my heart!
Big respect
I can't believe how stable it is, what an awesome bike but I think his skill level riding that is insane . All the best on the trails brother
so much positive vibes and inspiration! what a bike cole, very nice!
That was just inspiring to watch and warms the heart! Cheers to you both
incredible on so many levels mr Cole.
that fat tire skid sound is addictive :)
You are such a good friend! You helped him through the trails so he can have a good time. God bless you for that.
Dam... Some serious engineering on that Trike.. The steering looks like someone has taken the time to figure out that the front tires need to lean to the left and right when making turns. Very cool looking trike. And, the skill of the rider is very good. It was very cool watching him tackle the obstacles. Great video.
That was epic. To see the smile on his face made my day. He show us that there is no up stickles only solutions.
Bike makes people happy, this is wonderful
Watched the whole video with the biggest smile. You’re both awesome and keep on sending it.
WeI see things like this ,I have to wonder what my problem is. I used to go out and do stuff like this. The sense of accomplishment from riding my bike over terrain most people have a hard time walking . The last time I rode down trails like this I was still in high school and mountain biking wasn't a thing yet. Mostly we rode down the hills, and either got a ride back up or walked up. Flying down fire trails on our twenty inch bikes was a gas. You would get going so fast that when you hit a rock sticking out of the ground about an inch or two. Would make you fly about sixty feet down the hill. Only you were only six inches or so off the ground. Sometimes you would get a pinched tube and be all squirrelly until you got slowed down. Thanks for posting this video. I needed it. Inspiration is what I have gleaned from this. Keep em coming.
The axles on that adaptive bike are insane, the articulation and Cole's skill to bend it and drift corners also amazing. 😮
That was truly epic and inspirational. Thanks for sharing and motivating us with your riding, and other people who ride their bikes with style. We can do whatever we want if we just put our minds to it.
If the wheelchair guy was my friend, i would never run out of will and motivation. Stay strong brother ❤❤❤
That was sick! Both of you have incredible skills, honestly! So inspired, I need to go and ride my bike!
Wow!! Very very impressive and what a good friend helping him when the track was too narrow.
Now this is what you call dedication and not giving up on your dream to become free with nature and enjoy life to its fullest and showing never let anything stop you from achieving this. Total respect to you sir keep living the dream 🇬🇧👍
Absolutely incredible! Amazing control on that bike. Martin from EMBN would be very proud.
That’s super nice vehicle for disabled people who wants to enjoy the adventure of mountain biking and to help them to be normal😊
Thank to you and your magic friend. I never thought that THIS was possible. I wish that this type of bike will be less expensive in the future and also there will be more park like that in all over the world. I am italian and we don’t have so many places like this. Congrats!
What a STUD!!! AND WOW!!! What a rig that it lasted without splitting the front arms down those shoots
That's one of the coolest things I've seen in a while, you guys seem to enjoy the trail and each other company while riding! Awesome stuff! You guys should develop a handle for the front end of the bike, so when the person helps it has a nice round place to hold and better leverage to avoid the bike rolling (this could be very dangerous in some situations! Great work and hope to see other videos of you guys riding!
wow its awesome that he can still do this stuff!
dude that bike is awesome
Literally subscribed after watching him help Cole over the wood feature in the beginning. That was just awesome.
I'm stoked watching that video. No limit, friends carrying the 3-wheeler where it's complicated but nothing stops you all. KEep it up!
I never cease to be amazed by what these bikes are capable of handling when piloted by a skilled rider. Thanks for sharing! :)
THAT DUDE IS BAD ASS!!!! IT WAS AN AWESOME RIDE TO WATCH!!!!
And seeing You on an e-bike is amazing. I just picked one up 2 weeks ago and it’s a game changer. Ride More!
That was awesome. Mountain biking meets 4X4 off-roading and rock crawling. I love it!
Cole, since we met in 2013 you have always done everything to the limit and this is another level, Congratulations man on living full throttle!
Thanks for the upload! This was just amazing to watch. I know the Bowhead is a beast but Cole is a rider with some extraordinary skills to make it shine. 👊💥🤙❤
Absolute legend... Total inspiration to all riders!
🤘😎🤘
You guys rock! This is a great inspiration for those with disabilities. If you have a passion, and determination, you will find a way. God bless you guys.
TOTAL RESPECT fella
The control and confidence you have on that bike was AWESOME !!!
Just amazing, so inspiring. Thanks to both of you
Have been following you since the Whistler shreddit days and this has to be one of the best videos. This and seeing the video of Alex Cairns descending Mt Currie on a sit ski have been the coolest things I’ve seen in a while. Great to see where adaptive sports are going lately!
Wow, thanks!
amazing video Remy loved every second of it!❤
I can't imagine how much harder it is on a mountain bike vs dirtbike. That trail was very difficult and you both just went for it. Great video - hope you upload together again.
This is fantastic.. Kudos to both of you... happy riding!
This has made my day! Smiled the whole way through! Thank you Rémy and Cole for cheering this miserable bastard up!
This is the coolest video I've seen in ages. This guy rips.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good to see you still enjoying your passion. That bike took on some impressive trails I'm sure skill still plays a big part. That trike sure looks fun to whip around
Beautiful video Remy!
Heck yeah! That’s awesome. Glad to see this.
This is so amazing! Absolutely heartwarming, lots of love for that trip!
The E-trike has incredible stability with its low center of mass. The rider chooses his line like he was born to it. True skill.
What an inspiration and absolute phenomenal mountain biker!
Faith in humanity restored, Remy you're amazing!
It's nice seeing this guy still enjoying the trails. Today I went to a rock climbing gym, one of the employees was in a wheelchair. His legs were strong, but he had a balance disorder. He was a really skilled rock climber though.
Skills! Can’t wait to see more from you guys.
That was amazing. 3 wheel e-bike going down IN-&-OUT simply amazing. The guy got talent. Koodo's...
Honestly, one of, if not the greatest video that I have ever had the privilege of watching. Thank you so much.
Happy you found or made something that makes you happy and still do what you love
owh boi.. It made me to grip my chair tight watching you guys rip those narrow and technical segments. Awesome!
A great friend to have. As an above knee amputee MTBer you need your mates around you. Well done for getting to there. Great job all.
I'm not even disabled, I don't live near mad downhill, Canadian single track and I want one of those machines!
This was awesome. Adds a whole new level to picking the right line.
Much Respect that build is brilliant this footage gives a lot of people hope 🇬🇧✌️
Remy you are the best, great rider with the very good heart🥰
Incredible video to watch!!
excellent skills very inspirational, no excuses when your having fun
Just incredible!! 🙌
This made my day. Awesome effort.
That bike is incredible! So inspiring! What an epic ride!
fantastic...and you are so handy..and your partner is really brave and trying to be sportive...I am impressed
This was amazing to watch!
