Steve Whitmire gets better and better performing Kermit as each year goes by. And I think Matt Vogel may have found his "Pepe the King Prawn" breakout character with Constantine.
*Steve only needed to work on a few more things to sound spot on to Jim, maybe talk a little slower, slightly less raspy, lower and more of a dull sound and boom. He’s spot on to jim. With Matt Vogel however... hoo boy- I don’t know what it’s going to take to get him sounding close to Jim. This is my personal opinion that he’s not right for the character but hey, things could change, and they better. It’s too distracting in muppets now. Oh yeah and this is another one of my personal opinions, Steve actually sounded closer to Jim Henson in some of his earlier productions. Especially in specific lines. But others think he improved since then... I dunno. Matt Vogel I do have hope for but something needs to change- and QUICKLY.*

And Constantine's eyes are tilted and pointed together apart from Kermit's eyes.

FreeSpiritPaulette I think Steve intentionally made his Kermit less like Jim’s so he’d do the character his own way so wouldn’t just be copying Jim’s
