    So, Is it possible to play the playback coming from Ableton by USB on 1 stereo channel of the mixer, and at the same time during the same session, record on Ableton the master track of the mixer?

    I see that the mixer has two main XLR outputs for the speakers. My question is it okay to use one XLR output because I only have one speaker? Or I must have two speakers m? I would appreciate your answers very much. Thanks

      Yeah not a problem only using one speaker.

    I'm going to suggest a different method for gain staging. (1) Set the master fader to zero. (2) Press the PFL button on the channel (3) Turn up the gain knob while speaking/singing into the mic at the loudest volume that will be used until peaks are hitting around -3 to zero on the Master Meter. (4) Adjust the channel fader to a suitable volume that sounds good in your speakers. When adjusting the next channel, be sure you have turned the PFL button off on the previous channel you were mixing and then follow the same procedure on the next channel. I see you used this method later in the video with the music going into channels 9/10.

      Good suggestion but if you're pressing the PFL button, would you need to set the master fader to zero?

    • @rcprod9631
      @rcprod9631 Před 10 měsíci

      @@jonathanchartrand3351 Good question. Perhaps not. I guess the individual channels could be adjusted for gain before turning up the master fader.

    • @jonathanchartrand3351
      @jonathanchartrand3351 Před 10 měsíci

      From what I understand, pressing the PSL button will mute the signal going to the speakers but still display the meters or clipping light to adjust the gain. @@rcprod9631

      @rcprod9631 Před 10 měsíci

      @@jonathanchartrand3351 That sounds correct. It's been a while since I added my original response. Thinking I mentioned the master fader since many end up with the individual faders cranked and have the master fader turned down to compensate.

    Can I connect this mixer to OBS live streaming software and at the same time have the sound coming out of the speaker?

    • @AudioCP
      @AudioCP  Před 3 lety +1

      You can have the mixer connected to the computer via the usb interface and also have sound coming out the speakers using either the main L+R or an aux mix depending on how you want it set up

    I got a Signature SoundCraft 10 and I have a new iPhone 12 mini.. I’m trying to contact soundCraft right now because I’m wondering if it’s compatible with iPhone at all ? I’m trying to live stream and I cannot connect the mixer to the phone yet.. I ordered the usb-b to usb-a cord and the Apple lightning to 3.0 camera adapter because I saw one guy using that setup to at least record HQ audio for CZcams videos which is half of my goal the other being streaming HQ audio on any streaming Ap. I feel like I might have to return the new iPhone 12 mini and get a droid phone just to make everything work. I’m confused I’m trying to figure how I’m going to broadcast the awesome lexicon effects of the mixer and my singing and guitar playing to the World ?! Please help ! I feel like a lot of people are looking for these same answers with what has happened. I might have to make a video myself when I figure this out.
