I can't believe these are available for free! I paid full price for a few of them years back and it was totally worth it. Best lessons you'll find for comic drawing.

That's the down side to the internet. What you paid for, others now have access to it for free.

@@cameronhill9267 True on one hand. But I also had access to the info 2 decades ago and all my learning based on that since made it seem a bargain. It's really great stuff but you have to stick with it. You can't just glean passively IMO. Joe is one of the best artists to study. He had everything except a tightly polished style which precludes any modern illustrator from aping him too closely.

@@kevinwolffart I agree .I was going to say the same thing about having access to this knowledge earlier than most.I do agree about Joe's style too.I personally like it.It feels crafted with a certain amount of energy to it.I have an animation b.g and style to my work.So im always a fan of the loose gesture styles many artist have.

Do you know what type of leads he uses for his mechanical pencils ? ...HB or B?... It looks so soft, so I thought, perhaps B .

@@DV-dt9sq In the Pencilling video I think he said HB. HB is best for quick looser pencils. Full detailed pencils would smear too easily and in those cases, 2h is best but don't press hard or you will indent the paper.
