I was born and raised in Pittsburgh 53-72. So much has changed! Gone is much of the North side residential area, now it's stadium and science center, highways, steel mills were many and operating, now there is one, downtown has a few older builsings, Gulf, Koppers, Alcoa, US Steel train station, but so much new. Civic Arena gone-now it's a parking lot. Love how the Point looks now. I never rode the incline so it's a treat seeing this. It's a beautiful, interesting city, good place to live, lots to do.

In the Pittsburgh Area is United States Steel in Braddock, Irvin Works, and Clairton Coke Plant. There are fewer than years ago, but steel and related industries is still doing well in the area. Only 1 of the 3 plants makes raw steel, but all 3 are involved in the manufacture (Coke Plant) of steel, or steel product processing.

My husband grew up in McKee Rocks (a suburb of Pittsburgh) and he took me to Pittsburgh for our 20th anniversary. We rode the Duquesne Incline, toured the submarine, Carnegie Science Center, looked at neighbor hoods he grew up in, and at a local pizza shop that was still in business after all these years. Later we weback met up with a friend of his and his friend arranged for us to get a tour of Heinz Stadium.

Then they did some new songs that weren't released yet.
