I’m a little older than Justin. I remember going to youth camp as a teen and getting a worship song stuck in my head. I wanted to hear it again, the only version CZcams had at the time was this webcam version of a 10-11 year old boy. I remember thinking “this kid’s going places” and occasionally I’d pull his account back up to see how he was doing. One day I looked him up and his account had totally been upscaled and he was suddenly a tween heartthrob singing his new single “Baby.” Everyone else my age hated the poor kid for being annoying, but I always kinda kept one eye on his career hoping he’d turn his life back around. Glad he’s doing so. The industry was horrible to him.

I was a 'baby' Christian (around 2011-12) when I prayed for my cousins, AND Justin Beiber.... I know what some of you might think, BUT GOD KNOWS the truth. I was bawling my eyes eyes out. I couldn't understand why I suddenly thought about Justine along with my cousins. I never prayed for my cousins before, much less strangers. But in my prayer, GOD made me see the pain my cousins went through when we were kids, and I needed to ask for forgiveness on behalf of all my families and relatives. I was already 36 years old around that time. What's crazy is while I was praying for Justin, I could feel his pain like he was my own nephew. I believe that's how GOD loves him.

I'm going to be vulnerable and share my personal experience here since this is mostly a Christian men's channel. I remember when I was SAed by a woman 4 to 5 times my age when I was 15 in front of everyone and started to hold back tears because I felt violated and disrespected like how Justin Bieber felt. I never told this to anyone. At the time I had a pornography addiction and wasn't a Christian and part of a different religion. This caused me to act out in certain ways towards people that was wrong and I continued to get deeper with my porn addiction. God healed me from my past and trauma overtime. I started seeking Jesus in 2020 when I was 19 but wasn't doing it right because I was still working for my salvation. But one year ago in January 2023 I became saved. I still struggle with pornography but it is not as much as before.

I was saved at 28 after growing up in the church and thinking I was a Christian all along. It was’t until I committed to reading my Bible that God revealed Himself to me and for the first time in my life I truly felt sorrow for my pornography addiction and I wanted God to free me from it. I went through a radical transformation and it took a few months to completely shake off the addiction but I am free now and I know that only God could have done that. I was deep in that sinful lifestyle for 15 years

For me, shame has always been from disobedience of the commandments. Guilt was the result of not reconciling it through Christ. There is a purpose of those two emotions, they are my internal alerts that should be used to make change within.

When I think about this, all you have to know is there is grief for a single mom who tried to protect her boy every step of the way.
