Hi came over from kari Gibson art xx
Like it a lot.
Yay!âșïž
I really enjoyed watching you create your journals. You do wonderful textures with little scraps of neutral designs and colors that is very pleasing to my eye. I am looking forward to following your lead. You've inspired me in new ways. Thank you for sharing!

That is neat looking and different binding that always looks difficult and it does co fuse me pls help
Okay, I have just begun but will have to pick it up tomorrow this is too late in the day. Thanks Meg; found you through 49dragonflies for more define.
Canada
I love this.....really really love this.... I can't sew so this is perfect for me....Can you suggest how to make a good cover??? Thanks
So glad you found it helpful! Attach a thicker card or cardboard to the front and back pages. You could even poke a hole on the right side of each and thread some ribbon through for a closure! I can make a video to show some cover ideas if youâd find it helpful. đ
@@megjournals Hi..thanks for the tips. Will try to do that. Thank you again.
Love this idea. Just wondering...where do you journal? It seems like so many pages are printed leaving little room to write.
Thank you! So I add labels/journal spots over areas with printed text to allow me room to journal. I tend to work in little areas rather than text on a whole page.
Hi Meg, do you fill both sides of your journal or one side?
Both sides!
@@megjournals thank you Meg! I'm itching to start my own junk journal now đđ
what type of glue do you recommend for junk journals
I use a pritt stick! I tend to go for sticks over âwetâ glues like PVA but thatâs just my preference :)
Love this so much Thank you for your clear instructions Can anyone help me with what to use a journal for please Don't shout at me but I'm sure it will help my mental health to make and use them but I've no idea what to do with them and I'm too scared to make a mistake and ruin my hard work. I've never been a diary writer and am too old to start now so what else can I do? Really appreciate the time anyone takes to reply Thank you
Documenting your day, doodling, even just making pretty collages with things you like! Donât be afraid to make mistakes, itâs all part of the process đ„° And youâre never to old to start!!
@@megjournals thank you Meg for taking time to reply. I will give it a go!!!
You can write quotes in it, song lyrics, put photos in it, paint, stamps, etc....and do the #junkjournaljuly prompts đ
Hi, thanks a lot for this video! I'd like to ask you a question: do you think that it could be illegal to sell art junk journals on the Internet if they happen to contain printables? Thank you!
Iâve never done it but youâd have to check with the artist individually and what their terms of use are
@@megjournals Thanks for replying! I actually meant junk journals made by myself, though I've yet to learn how to make them.
Where do you get your paper tape from?
I bought it from an online shop called MiSo Paper based in the UK. :)
Thereâs no binding??
Not technically in this style! It's just continually folded over in an accodion style, so super easy :)
