  • Here is my double line Aeolian Harp. I am using two 90 foot strands of 100lb test Dyneema fishing cord and the two-liter soda bottle resonators. I am experimenting with a line tightening set-up to tune the line.

Wow fascinating how you can create such sounds with such little materials. I need to try making such devices!

Love it. I used to make these. Now I'm inspired to start doing them again. Thanks, great sounds.

Marvelous. I first heard wind harps on Richard Lerman's CD 'Beyond Earreach.'

Ever tried to put a contact mike on a telephone pole during a windy day? I pressed my ear against one once and it was equally fascinating as terrifying. I can only describe the sound as that of alien trains.

Do you just carve a hole into the bottle, leave it open and hang it somewhere? If its that easy im gonna make some too, if not, please tell me how to make them

if you are still making these can you use like an eye bolt and then have something like a tuner?

How tight does the line need to be?
