I used to love All That and then the Kenan and Kel shows when I was a kid, and now Kenan's still making me laugh as an adult. I've grown up with this guy, watching him just feels like laughing at jokes with a friend. Love him so much.

As a big fan of Golden Age Sci-fi of writers like Asimov, Heinlein and Arthur C Clarke this is hilarious. Especially since in their later years they all started adding a lot more sex into their novels, sometimes pretty graphic. Kenan really seems to channel an old Asimov.
Arthur C. Clarke "co wrote" (he did not contribute) with Gentry Lee and when you look at some of Lee's......ahem..... _issue laden_ efforts in Cradle and the Rama sequels, there are some clear trends. 😯

In 1971 Isaac Asimov published a comedic book under a pseudonym, The Sensuous Dirty Old Man (as by Dr. "A."), a parody of the sexlife essay "self-help" (no pun intended) books that were popular at the time, like the "Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars" sort.
Given the sideburns, this seems like a clear homage to Asimov. I don't know of Keenan knows this tidbit about Asimov's bibliography though, but I'm sure he'd be delighted to learn the Doctor and him were clearly thinking on the same wavelength.
There's probably a talkshow interview out there of Asimov about it. I believe he didn't intend for his true identity to be revealed, but it was pretty obvious, haha.
In keeping with the "ruse" that Keenan is one person and Pernice is another, a better setup would've been, 'I'll go tell Pernice that Seth would like to interview him. He should be out in a couple minutes." JS...🤷🏾♀️Nevertheless, Keenan playing strange, older men w/weird characteristics never gets old.😂
