pro tip!: a ring of dawn around the neck before fully submerging helps keep the fleas from just crawling up to the face but thats amazing you helped! im always amazed at how you care for animals!

Thinking all of those poor puppies in that disgusting environment and now they are faced with being euthanized. I rescued a pup from Hope and faith foundation in Corpus Christie Texas. I live in WA and she gets transported here next week!!! Thereâs a massive amount of animals that are dumped and roaming the streets, miraculously surviving the 105+ degree weather. Canât wait to help the cause and change the fate of one dogâs life.Sheâs with an amazing foster mom who treats her like own. Shout out to you and all the people making a difference.đ

I heard a great tip to put a ring of dawn around their necks to stop the fleas from traveling to the face. Thank you for caring so much for all these dogs, and cats.
does this actually work? iâve been trying to get rid of some few fleas off my dog
@carlinicole5379 everytime I've seen hope for paws do it it seems to work well. Make sure to put it on before the bath though. It acts as a barrier that the fleas do not want to cross.
@@carlicasarezit works! I worked in the shelters growing up and now the veterinary field. Dawn kills fleas!

I just met one of the rescue dogs! Someone walked into my work with a little Chihuahua. The dog came up and touched her nose to my hand. Her owners praised her. The owners told me she was learning to be friendly. She had been rescued from a hoarding situation. 80 Chihuahuas in West Covina. ! By coincidence I had watched this video a few days earlier.
It was nice to see the dog in good hands.

These poor sweet babies are in the best hands with you! Also, I'm so glad you mentioned Dawn Dish Soap for fleas! I've had 2 cats that had seizures, oral poisoning and ongoing health problems from flea treatments that cost thousands at the vet! Now I exclusively use Dawn with a flea comb if any issue comes up and it does the trick! â€
If you start with creating a 'barrier' ring of soap around the neck before you start washing, it stops the fleas moving onto the face, as they tend to migrate away from the soap.

When you wrapped the momma up in that towel she kinda looked like a little seal and I couldnât help but smile through the heartbreak I feel for this little family of doggos. I canât believe people can tread such adorable innocent animals like that. Iâve never understood how animal hoarders get into situations like that, itâs so heartbreaking to see them like that. So glad these dogs were rescued and can finally get the lives they deserve with loving new owners that will treat them well and give them all the cuddles and treats their little hearts desire.

Thank you for taking them in. With the sceard mum you can sit in the room and try to give her treats and dont make any eye contact and sit and make her come to you†it will take some time but she need it.

Thank God Wagmor was able to get in there and help save some of those precious babies! That was a puppy mill for sure! All those poor babies covered in fleas and filth. Ugh that breaks my heart! Chihuahua's are a very special breed. They are pure love but only once they trust. These dogs will take a bit to warm up to you or anyone. Obviously haven't been very nurtured or cared for. They will be amazing once they are settled in tho. If you both bond you will see how loving they can be.

Oh wow Joey! As the parent of 3 chi's, be careful! they are sweet and loving to their humans but they will take your finger off if they dont trust you. Great job going slow with mama and building that trust. You're so good at fostering so I know you'll have them eating from the palm of your hand in no time! These babies have no idea yet how they hit the jackpot having you as their foster dad.

for a pet hoarder situation...they do all look very well fed and they aren't all in small cages dirty and actually free roaming outside and where provided lots of shelter
