- People love going antiquing and treasure hunting. Perhaps that’s why “American Pickers” has managed to remain a reality-show staple for more than 10 years. Led by hosts Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and Danielle Colby, audiences get to watch as the stars uncover some true hidden gems.
Unfortunately, this dynamic trio became a dynamic duo after Fritz was let go following an alleged feud with Mike Wolfe. But beyond losing a co-host, the show has other skeletons in its closet that many viewers may not be aware of. This is the scandal on “American Pickers” you didn’t know about.

Me too, it's not the same show without Frank. I deleted it from my DVR list.
When they show the previews for the new episode of Pickers listen real close to the voices because Frank's voice is heard when they are in an old bowling alley and you hear the words since 1927 and that is Frank's voice, I know that voice anywhere so I hope he is returning
I think it's a big I still think it's a big scam somebody else goes ahead and finds all the stuff tell he finds out what they pay creative paperwork and he pays up. Since Frank not on and his brother went back to his own company and I think he's ran Dave off I don't see any reason to watch the show.
Since Frank left and That tattoo woman broke up a marriage we stopped watching.
Another fact. The producers of the show actually go to the locations and look for items first before the cast goes.

@@CapnHolic Where did i say it was fake? The producers wanted to make sure the cast was going to a legitimate pick, and not just a junk pile not worth going to.
Everything we see on camera is choreographed and staged
They have tour busses - that van they claim to drive around - has it's own hauler which is pulled by a production truck - and that's exactly what this TV show is - a production -
It was ok for a while but after watching them loading up the van and pretending to Be surprised is just lame + plead stop with the
Not true. Just 2 years ago a local police officer in Glynn County, where I live, stopped their van and took selfies with them. There was one car, with producers and cameras, behind them, but noone else.
No law says a reality show has to be real.

Mike ruined the show for me. He constantly talked over Frank, and hogged the spotlight, lost my enthusiasm for the show. Never watch it all now.

New episodes of American Pickers will start January 1st 2022 and when you see the previews on History Channel listen really close to who is talking but not being shown, I swear it is Frank Fritz voice, I would bet on it and when they show him in the van they don't show who's on the passenger side but like I said Frank Fritz voice is heard.
Nobody goes to prison for owing only $6,000 in back taxes. That is mere pennies compared to so many people that owe Millions.
Black and white prison wear would be truly vintage orange coveralls would be a bit more up to date
Mike grew a beard so that he could be "the bearded charmer". He secretly hated and resented Frank forever because Frank got lower prices.

Anyone who seriously watches the show can see how annoying Frank can be and he gets the lower prices because he usually grabs the cheaper and smaller items.
There's been more than a few times on the show where Frank was clearly getting on the nerves of people they were picking and it wasn't added for the show. It was genuine disgust by his attitude and you see it more and more leading up to his firing.
Frank's had a crap attitude since the show began and he had constant issues outside the show as well. People accusing him of ripping them off and involving items from the show.
He gets fired because they finally got sick of his attitude and suddenly everyone wants to feel bad for Frank when they guy was an annoyance from day one.

I can't stand the show. I think they're all scammers and grifters. Colby belongs in a side show at a circus too bad there are none left. Don't get me started on Wolf and Fritz. Glad there are many other shows to watch, like storage wars
Holy this showed my age. In 2010 the Detroit Tigers had a contending baseball team and made the playoffs numerous times.
Mike was the inventor of the show...his baby. Frank was always dead weight in my opinion.

Its not totale fake and i stand behind Mike Wolff. I underdstand my hé let Frank go because even here in the Netherlands when you too many times sick or not do youre job youre out. Its not easy but underdstandebell. Here in the Netherlands you a government anssurens that help with money and docters.
