did you get permission to fly at the lake? im in SB and wanna fly there too

No didnt need permission I was more than 5 miles away from any airport or military base. The life guards did come up to me and told me I couldnt fly there because of air base but I was clearly over 5 miles away and legal to fly but I put it away just so there was no issue.

The 5 miles doesn't matter , that area is in class C and D, restricted airspace

All you have to do is Call the tower at March AFB. FAA may flag you.
