    The platelet (thrombocytes) contain granules (alpha granules and dense granules.
    Alpha granules include vWF, PAF, PF3, PF4, PDGF,...etc.
    Dense granules: ADP, Calcium and serotonin.

    Just want to take a moment and say that your videos are not only a life saver but also a game changer! I am an Indian medical student and have completed MBBS.     I teach that granules in the immune system are like ammo. Thus granulated wbcs carry ammo which they use to used to kill germs and send signal flares for help. Great vid!

    Man I thought I was the only one who remembered 2.7.9.10 with parasympathetic Cranial nerves
    Another mnemonic to add is Delta granules are SAC like
    They secrete Serotonin,ADP, Calcium

    Why there are no gamma, lambda, o-granules and lysosomes? Where are other contents of alpha granules, such as HGF, VEGF, FGF etc.?
