I really love the way you crochet. You stitches are always even. I wish I could crochet lime you.❤
I discovered this pattern recently. It is so lacy and pretty with this particular yarn, in this color. Luckily I was able to find this yarn even though premier brand has discontinued it. The shawl turned out beautifully! Thank you for a gorgeous pattern and your great teaching.

I am excited . My shawl m looks so great. I am making a hat to match
Lol ty u again.
Ohhh thank you so much Glenda for this shawl pattern. I love shawls, I crochet and knit many and I wear them all the time. This one will be a must 😊
Everyone - please remember that the "x-stitch" round has 2DC, ch2, 2DC in the peak ... and the solid DC round only has 1DC, ch2, 1DC in the peak. I initially did 2dc, ch2,2dc in the peak in each round and by round 5 I was wondering why I had an extra stitch in the "x-stitch" round. That was why. I assume the peak was the same each round. So, I'm highlighting the pattern at that point to remind myself.
Thank you!
Love these colors and pattern! Thank you Glenda!🤗🌸🌼🌸
HI GLENDA, SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STITCH & LOVE THE COLORS. THANK YOU FOR SHARING💖🙂💖

Hi Glenda
Love this pattern. It looks like fun and I am going to make one. I am 90 so can't handle the complicated patterns any more and you explain things so well.and I love premier yarn. It is really nice. Stay well.
I like this shawl, especially the crossed double-crochets and the border. I was lucky to get the written pattern at a reduced price :-) Thank you very much for this easy-to-understand tutorial.

Im soooo excited to make this shawl! Im waiting for the yarn to be shipped. Thank you so much Glenda. Its absolutly beautiful 🥰🥰🥰
I started this again for about the 4th time today, I was trying too hard, but I finally figured this out I'm using ombre yarn from Red Heart I 'm using a dusty rose to burgundy and I love the pattern, Thank you for the Pattern, Be Safe
Thank you Glenda. It's lovely.
Finally getting to this one. Beautiful. I did have to rip out a few rows when i realized that i was doing my end dc group in the last stitch of the row, instead of the top of the ch3. That made one side a few stitches longer as i went on. So, make sure you do end group in the ch3 not in the last stitch. It who'll come out uneaven like mine.
Thank you for another beautiful pattern.👍
So colorful.....thanks!
Beautifully done!
I love it... Thanks Glenda...
Gorgeous!

Glenda I'm totally in love with this Tropical Breeze Shawl. So easy to crochet! Vickie G
I love the yarn. It's almost as pretty as your beautiful daughter.
Beautiful!
I loved this shawl. It's easy and breezy! Here in Brazil it's not so cold even in winter, so I think it's going to be very appreciated I'm using a cotton yarn. It's called Prisma and comes in a ball of 600 meters with 4 very thinny treads mixed in beige, light pnk, pink and brown, providing long stripes of colors that begins in light colors and ending in brown. I think it's going to be beautiful! Thaks for your vídeo.
Absolutely beautiful. 🌹
I made this for my neighbor, she loves it.
So pretty Glenda
This is Just Beautiful! 🌸😊🌸

So beautiful! I just went to Premier and order the same color. Can't wait to try it. I love Premier yarns and your tutorials. You are so concise, thank you💞
I want very much to make this, it is so lovely! I would like to try to do it in a triple crochet stitch. I think it might work up faster and be a bit more light and airy using a DK weight yarn. Any thoughts? Thanks, Glenda, for another really great pattern!!
❤ loved it ❤👍thx🙏
that so pretty shaw you have pretty daughter
Thanks
Hello Achara, Thank You so much for your super Thanks, I appreciate your support of my channel.
I am going to put this on my "things to make" list! I have one question... the increases for the shall happen at the beginning, and point of the solid rounds correct?
Hey there, Glenda! Wow I’m so glad I ran across this absolutely gorgeous shawl! Looks very easy that a beginner can work it as well. Thank you some h for sharing! Question, did you block it before the end of the video? Just curious before I start one. Thanks again! Be blessed always. 💕🧶
Beautiful ❤️ but I tried to double up yarn n I just st more practice.. 😆
Beautiful. So is your daughter
It would look great to make 2 of these and crochet them together to make an aphgan.
This is a great tutorial for such a beautiful shawl. However, I am new to crocheting and for some reason it is curly up on me. I am using a 3 weight yarn and using a 5 mm hook as mentioned in your tutorial. The yarn label states to either use a 4 or 4.5 size hook. Could this be the reason it is curly up? I am following the pattern as required. Could use some assistance! Thank you!
Olá muita linda uau UAU ♥️♥️♥️
Very pretty! Is there a way where you could show us different color combinations for baby blankets? I never know what colors to put together and I want to get away from making pink/white and blue/white blankets. Thanks!
Great idea for a video I will put it on my list to do
😍😍😍
can you make one without the point rectangle one ty
can you make one with out the point ty like a round
Craft and crochet
Hi Glenda. ~ I would like to do this pattern on a baby cover. How would I do the first and the last stitch to keep it straight.
use a multiple of 2 for your starting chain, Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across, turn. Row 2: Ch 3 (count as first dc) * skip next dc, dc in next dc, dc in previously skipped st (crossed dc made) *, rep from * to * across to last st, dc in last st, turn. Row 3: ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each stitch across, turn. Repeat Rows 2 & 3 for pattern
What hook size didi you use? I am from England.
I'm assuming this would also work with a fingering weight yarn and smaller hook? Just would take a lot more time!
You are correct. Would look beautiful using a fingering weight yarn.
? at 24:03 you say in center point do 1 dc, ch. 2, 1 dc. previously it was 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc. so now I’m confused.
the crossed dc row you will work (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the center point and the row where you dc in each st you will work (dc, ch 2, dc) in the ch-2 point. So you are alternation back and worth between the rows.

Hello if I wanted to make the shawl as a wrap could you tell me how to go about making this pattern in a wrap and not a triangle. I think it would be beautiful as a wrap also. Thank you so much .Love your work.
