I have the Eflite one. I noticed atleast they covered all the servo wire cut outs and runs with tape to match the color. Looks clean.

Hi Brian, it would be very helpful when explaining setups to focus on those steps without the background detail, such as what, why & how ONLY. The extra detail is for new pilots..we get it and is yet helpful overall but it is much too detailed for consise instructions when trying to follow multiple steps.
Many new pilots would find all that detailed background info (the conditional if statements, suppose, etc.) too difficult to understand as they try to ferret out the "true logical steps in the actual actions" they need to take to accomplish them. Be more concise in the actual steps and if more background detail is needed for more clarity - state that first - then get to the actions required to be performed.. quickly. This gives someone new(er) a much greater logical sense of the required comprehension for step-by-step procedures. Thanks! Love the channel btw.
Just got the same plane, for some reason my cord for the ailerons is entirely too short, don’t know why that is but so short I can’t even plug it into my receiver.
I ordered one, should be here today. I've got an ar630 im gonna put in it. I think I downloaded the eflite f15 64mm profile on it but how can I tell for sure? Lol. I dont see the first time setup option on forward programming anymore.
As always very in-depth and informative. Is it possible to setup reverse thrust in the stock eFlite version like you did here with the Predator ESC? Or….are my options only to install the Predator ESC in eFlite 64mm F15 or purchase an Avian ESC.
bprc.me/F15 - This one comes with a NON SMART ESC right now, but if you wanted to add in AVIAN, you should be able to use the SMART features. My fear with the Predator ESC is that you'll potentially have issues with "Pilot Fatigue" setting, like we did...HOWEVER, there's more than one way to skin a cat ;)
bprc.me/FMS_F15 - Follow this link to FMS F-15, and see down a bit, the Predator ESC, but if you look close at the ESC, there's NOT a yellow wire, so not sure if the picture is out of date, or if they aren't coming as the PNP plane has stock.

Looks like the 30c pack performed better, maybe not only you placing it further forward but also that the 100c pack weight is a more?
Could be a bit of both, but also, the 30C is probably newer, or less cycles on it too.
The cord that goes in channel one, its very short. It could be longer, but don't want to start pulling on something that I'm not supposed to. Any ideas?
For the C rating is it OK if I use a 50 C instead of a 30C ??

That's a great question! The J-11 might be close...but the cockpit wouldn't be DEEP ENOUGH for the whole GI Joe...since the battery is down under ;) LOL

You need to setup the controller no mater what. This is why we make the videos so you can follow along. It's tough when you're new, but we're here to help you get to where you don't need help at all, but this does take some time, and you CAN do it!

Is this the same plane as the eflite f15?
I've had both and essentially it is. FMS originally made this plane, E-Flite took it, modified the paint scheme and added an AR630 Safe receiver to create a BNF version. They fly virtually identically.
Almost, RedFuryIII - Eflite didn't do anything...FMS makes it FOR Eflite, as they do many of the planes in their lineup. That's not to take anything away from the additional BNF advantages.

@@BrianPhillipsRC Hey Brian, thanks for the correction, what's different in the electronics? I totaled my E-flite F-15, lost signal and plummeted high speed into the ground. So I picked up an FMS, yanked the receiver from the E-flite and installed it in the new plane. Dang thing flew exactly as the E-Flite. I did learn how to setup Failsafe after the crash though! I do love how this plane flies.
