With the pier being crowed you are doing a great job at maneuvering over and around the people, I hope the people who fish on a pier do understand these are the conditions that they must endure to fish at any pier, Dang that was a monster king mackeral!

Man you gotta have patience to fish a busy pier. I know everyone wants to catch fish however I cannot figure out why someone would come and cast right next to you after a hook up. I know there is a school of fish or maybe a follower but that is bad etiquette. And why all the rods just sitting there unattended in the way? Can't the owners put them anywhere else besides on the rail? Just asking. Great video. Again you've got great patience.
Good stuff man, We have been using that new Z-man Hero Z 10" on a Diesel Eye 8/0 2oz head on these Tarpon in Key West Harbor and i think its the best Tarpon artificial ive ever fished, replaced the Windcheater in my arsenal. Guy outfished me 7 to 1 with one and i was sold!!!! Either Black or Pearl have been best, need to have enough rod to drive that 8/0 and they wont bend that joker out
So for the tarpon y’all just leave the lure/hook on them? Genuinely asking been wanting to get some tarpon out in the same pier just don’t know how it is beaching them or popping them off.
Wish this video wouldve came out a couple of days ago. I was just in PCB and the Russel Field Pier was so UNPRODUCTIVE. Even the locals were going home with no fish. Had more luck on the ML Pier and just had a feeling that the Okaloosa Island pier was going to be more productive. Could be because that place had recently got struck by lighting or just the foot traffic that pier gets in a day.
Brant, I think it could have been better if you strapped your camera higher on the chest because in several frames your hands as you reel the fish in partially block the view of what’s going on down there. Thanks much for the video.
Very hard to fish from this Okaloosa pier. Way too high above the water. Obviously, the fishing is great, but it is such a hassle to use these ridiculously long nets to pick up the fish.
