Welcome to the Letterman CZcams Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show - as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. These highlights have been artisanly-produced, carefully-curated, and chosen completely at random by an old computer that used to pick numbers for the New York Lotto back in the 90’s. - Zábava
You know you’re on to something when David Letterman has to hide his face just from looking at you.
I totally agree. Dave had an eye for the original and crazy.
I love this whole clip, and letterman cracking up is my favorite part!😅
That's his son
God I so miss David Letterman ....
it's how you know he was "actually good". He could hold that face, while everyone else in the room was losing it. LOL
Meanwhile Jimmy Fallon would have broke character 1.5 seconds in.
Incredible to think that he became one of the greatest male figure skaters of our time
Was he in Blades of Glory?
@@Leadfoot_P71 Yes, that's the joke lol.
Great reference to a 15 year old movie
And he holds the record for the most missed swings at the plate. He’s a legend in many sports.
Cuz I miss ya Jimmy, and I don't wanna miss a thing.
This movie is for all generations because it speaks to everyone who has ever gone to high school.
Exactly 💯 👍
As silly as it was, I thought it was the most accurate portrayal of highschool. All the kids weren't supermodel material, the prom was lame, most kids looked like they were from working class families.
Jon Heder may go here, and go there; he may do this, or that.
His character Napoleon Dynamite will remain as one of the funniest creations of all time.
My grandchildren will find him funny.
Or not, gosh!
Within 10 minutes, my wife thought it was the STUPIDEST movie she had ever seen. I continue to marvel at the fact that we’ve made in through more than 20 years of marriage.
@@erikcampen8276 - Women don't get comedy in general, and my wife doesn't like this movie either... but my daughter does... but her age and generational relationship probably factored into that. I will admit when I first saw it I was entirely confused as well... and when I realized a short time later that the kids at that time actually did behave like that, it became funny.
My favorite Jon Heder character has to be Lionel Gayheart.
They put a real tard in a movie that's F'd up
Jon has created one of the greatest characters of all time. Everytime you watch that film you don't feel like you are watching a movie
The fact Jon Heder played his Napoleon character so well just for a Top Ten list makes him a real Boss. Gosh!
#1 sign you're not the most popular guy in school: when your lips hurt real bad but no one will bring you any chapstick. GOSH!
“Tater Tots rule.”
-
The only universally unchallengeable statement.
Jon Heder never breaks character. He inhabits the role.
Dave has such a great sense of humor and his laughter is so genuine. Miss him
If there was ever movie that needs a modern middle-aged sequel... Napoleon working as a bumbling mid level manager in his hometown sounds great
I feel like they could do literally whatever they wanted with that premise and it would be a home run.
I also love your name, H.P. Lovetrash🤣🤣🤣🤣
Like the cartoon it would disappoint. Critics and everyone would compare to the original and come up empty.
@@samsmith4216 yeah well the critics are frickin idiots!
I could imagine Kip with an apron on, and Lafanda bossing him around.
This movie is genius because of how simple it is. It’s not over the top. It’s just funny and always will be ❤️
I stumbled upon Napoleon Dynamite movie by accident and what a surprise, absolutely hilarious movie!
Dave's laughing. 😻
When you realize we’re coming up on 20 years since Napoleon Dynamite was released…
I watched Napoleon Dynamite in theaters 5 times. I loved it that much.
I'd like to see Jiminy Glick interview Napoleon Dynamite. Now, that would be an interview worth watching!
I wish Letterman was still on! Napoleon Dynamite is such an awesome movie and perfect with Jon Heder. I remember when it came out so many people dressed up like the characters for Halloween 🙃
Vote for Pedro!
Napoleon lives!
Napoleon is Letterman's long lost child
Napoleon rules!
Heck Yes, he does !
Thank you, Letterman CZcams team, for having a higher quality version of this Top 10 list than the previous upload of this list.
The Napoleon Top 10 list was one of my favorites. :D
"well why don't you go make yourself a quesadilla then"!
Quesa Dila!
@@Richard-wp6ep a DANG quesa-dilla!
@@SherryAnnOfTheWest a Dang Quesa- DILA!!
The way he wipes his nose 😂😂
I can identify. I was the only person at my 20 year high school reunion wearing a name badge & it didn't help.
LOL
Whenever someone is featured in a Letterman or Conan clip I immediately worry they just died.
I would like to take a moment and ask that everyone please support Nessie and all our other aquatic allies who help to make our wildest dreams come true. Thank you.
David - "lol" when Napelon walks out ...Napelon-"Hey Dave you wanna wait for the punchline first?"
napelon? lol
"He's out to prove...he has nothing to prove"...🤠
Love that effin' movie!!
God, I miss Letterman. Thank God for reruns on CZcams!
They did an animated series that ran for one season with all of the original characters doing voiceovers. It was fantastic!
Damn I forgot about that lol you'd think it would've been more popular
I like that bizarre run he does to get offstage.
Its crazy how many new comments you find under the Napoleon Dynamite videos. I'll show that movie my grandkids someday, a true classic.
He did a good job of staying in character. It must have been tough . . .
You're sense of humor is absolutely underrated. 😉👏
Fantastic movie, never get old always funny, same for step brothers, love it
I'm glad I had the chance to attend a Letterman show once in NYC. I saw Bill Hader do an awesome Arnie impersonation.. such a good trip 😂
Dave. Thank you for the thousands of nights with laughs after laughs. thank you.
That was a funny movie. But no matter what other roles he plays, that voice still reminds you of Napoleon Dynamite. He played Roy Disney in Walt Before Mickey.
Finally you posted a high quality! Been waiting 12 years
Just showing up made everybody crack up. Elegant~
David laughing is so wholesome! I don't blame him though, Napoleon is hilarious and adorable. 😊
This is clean comedy...refreshing.
Was he wearing a shirt with a Ligar on it? Luc-keee!
That Run ...
I don't see many run like that but when I do ...
#4 had me ROLLING!
First time I watched it I thought what a waste of time. And then I started thinking about it and couldent stop laughing.
Absolute classic movie
“I see you're drinking one-percent. Is that 'cause you think you're fat?”
No matter what character Jon Heder plays, he will always remind me of Napolean Dynamite 😆😹
It's incredible to see him stay in character for that skit.
I attended this episode of the Late Show live!
Possibly the best top 10 list EVER!
One of the most UNIQUE movies you'll ever see
His hair looks like he just woke up sleeping on it. Too funny
back when people knew how to have fun
The Velcro snow boots get me every time.
One of my favorite movies !!!
Tater tots always had those little black specks in them and since I could not identify those specks, I avoided tater tots throughout my school years... now I feel like a dork 🤓
I never liked tator tots anyway
@@mitchellhughes5180 Tater Tots rule.
Black specks? Not sure what kind of tater tots those were, but you were probably wise not to eat them since normal TT's don't have black specks.
Black Pepper
They’re probably just burnt parts
You know you're funny when you don't even have to say a word to make people laugh. LOVE Napoleon Dynamite, one of my favorite movies of all-time.
AMAZING!!!
This made my year thank you!
Vote for Pedro ✌🇺🇸
Perfection on all fronts.
If the coach had only put me in, we would have gone to State. No doubt in my mind.
Can't believe they didn't make part 2.
I bet Dave was a lot like that in high school lol
My oldest sister said they made a movie about me. So what if it was this one, GOSH!!!!
Is it hot in here? I think I'm gonna go home and lie down.
Now that was hilarious 😂
I saw the movie 1 time and thought to myself "this is the stupidest movie ever made" then my kids told me to watch it again - then i got the joke. its now one of my favorite movies of all time. GOSH!
When late night TV was funny! I miss those days!
Can't find my checkbook! Guess I'll have to pay you in change 🤣
My daughter loved this movie in junior high.
Facts.
They need a Napoleon Dynamite sitcom. 😂😂
Classic.
Naruto running before it was cool.
Brilliant
Perfect.
Tater Tots RULE!!
GET YOUR OWN!
Hate sequels, but I'd love to see one about Napoleon.
They would just ruin it.
They should do a Rex Kwon Do spinoff
They made a cartoon series......
My guess is that he’d be the assistant evening manager at the local “farm and fleet” store……😂
Letterman trying to not contain himself 😂
A most enjoyable film.
Flawless
Jon Heder nailed it with that character. Everybody had a classmate like him.
Ours was saddled with the nickname of “Lurch” - wonder if that poor kid ever blossomed into a beautiful flower…….😂
I want to see Napoleon Dynamite run the 100 yard dash.
Against Fat Albert.
TATER TOTS RULE! SING IT, BROTHER!
Never realized how much Napoleon Dynamite looks like young Letterman
Top 10 list was one the best parts of DL
Best top 10 ever!😆
Who’d have thought that movie would become one of the first legit “cult classic” movies
Love that movie!!!😅
"Hey Paul, got any gum? Hee hee!!"
The place where that was filmed was our high school rival. That town was full of massive, talented athletes. Meat and potatoes rule!
I order tater tots in honor of Napoleon.
I miss this show with Letterman SO MUCH.
He was awesome in Just Like Heaven
Damn hes good !
He should have kept that character alive. Goldmine. When you make David Letterman hide behind a DVD case and laugh…..while you just stand there….we’ll then you have struck gold.
What's the name of the tune we get a snippet of, as he dances?
(No 3)🙏
😂 😂 😂 lol you’re yearbook photo capture reads unidenefid sophomore 😂 lol that craked me up
Letterman was the man
