- Hi guys! So I got to drive in Chandigarh which is a developed city in Punjab, India. It is a lot more advance in comparison to the rest of Punjab (For its driving rules and regulations) It is very much a grid layout and has a variety of roundabouts.

She should drive once in Bengaluru 😂... she'll forget her driving skills
I totally agree 😂
Macha so true
I thought Bengaluru was a civilised city ?
Hahah I will have to look up what the roads are like
@@ClearviewDriving Ma'am, you will certainly regret that 😅
11:55 It wasnt built by british, it was independent India's first planned city because lahore had gone to pakistan after partition, chandigarh was made to replace it. Also it was designed by french architect le corbusier.
Thank you, I didn’t know
Suddenly London looks easy!
Hahah 😭 honestly this area is very easy to drive in comparison to the rest of Punjab
@@ClearviewDriving 😨
I can't actually see much difference between here and London with the driving technique. Give if 5 years and London will have fully assimilated to this 😂
😂😂😂😂
@@ClearviewDriving totally agree!👍🏻
I passed my driving test on the first time last week and All your videos helped me a lot. Thank you very much you are amazing Aman
I love how chilled out the drivers look over there. People drive on the wrong side of the road like it’s normal and block junctions and weave dangerously through traffic and all the drivers just keep a calm expression on their faces 🤣 it’s so funny how different Indian culture is to the UK. Making a tiny little mistake on the road in the UK is enough to make the driver grow little horns and start flailing their arms and shaking their head and yelling expletives out of the window.
It seems to be a case of, drive where ever you like, wrong side or correct. And also, be a little aggressive and don’t let people go. Because if you let one person go it seems that everyone takes advantage. So it’s best just to be rude and force your way through to a certain extent
You’ve summarised it up very well
basically sums up why Ihsan drives the way he does in amans latest video
Amans face in the thumbnail says everything 😂 you know it’s gonna be entertainment as always ❤
Great job Aman , well done 👍
hi Aman, great video, maybe you could try to make a series where you travel to other countries and try their roads and their driving styles and laws, I guess it would be fun. Keep up the great work !
Hey yeah i really want to do that. Will be planning more trips this year :)
Glad you guys enjoyed this
@@ClearviewDrivingOhhhh you should definitely come to Germany.. that'd be awesome!! :) If you have questions about germany, i can answer you any u want :))
@@ClearviewDriving+ you could go onto the Autobahn which has no speed limit most of the time.. that'd be a new feeling for you!!
@@ClearviewDriving++ you could make a video about „First time driving without a speed limit in Germany“ hahaha 😭 i think that‘d be cool asf :)
@@ClearviewDrivingplz drive on NH 8 its busiest in india drive from delhi to gurgaon or jaipur
Amazing video can’t wait for your next drive video
4:40 A good way to convert km to miles in your head is to divide by 2, then add one tenth of the original.
So 60 km/h is about 30+6 = 36 mph. It's an approximation, but a good one: true value is about 37.3 mph.
At lower speeds yes, but as you get faster it might not be accurate enough.. at least from a point of view of following speed limits when you travel between countries with km/miles
hey google or hey siri
I just remeber important speed like: 30mph = around 50kmh or 70 mph = around 110kmh
Or multiply it by 1.5 😏
100 miles is equal to 162 kms approx, now do the math.
Hi Aman you showed them how to drive properly I admire the way you made the motorised to move back day hi to all your friends from me ❤️
Love your channel aman! And this video was super entertaining 😂😂
You drive so well Aman specially in Punjab (Jalandhar and Chandigarh)! Love all your videos and vlogs 😍👍🏼
Thank you :)
It is evident that Aman has so much more thrill on Indian roads than UK. Love 🇮🇳
Yes because UK roads are civilised. Driving in India is like driving in a video game.
Brilliant video thank you 🎉
Glad you enjoyed it 🥰
If you wanna see disciplined traffic, Aizwal, Mizoram Northeast state of India
Nice to know this is in Punjab area in india 😅
The pink suits you. 😮
Nice henna mendhi on your hands.😊
Thank you for this upload. ❤

Welcome onboard ☺️👋🏽
I loved your driving skill.
Great vid, I've always found these vids particularly fascinating, it's compelling viewing, drama, suspense, action-adventure, comedy, mystery, it's like a Bollywood Movie all rolled into 30 minutes of driving 😅 And the constant narrating, dude, you're like a talking machine, it's so cute though. 🙏
Haha we were all new to this area and the roads
Therefore the constant talking
Really enjoyed it thanks x
17:27 I feel i can't even breathe in like that situations specially driving with family 🥲my mind goes blank for a few seconds 😅

Really well done 👏🏽 thank you for watching
Loving Aman driving in different states
Aman you're amazing. I love it when you talk driving the car. Your voice is so calm.. What are these paintings on your hands?
Hey thank you :)
I had mehndi done (henna design) it was for my cousins wedding
@@ClearviewDriving Thanks for the explanation. It looks like your content is not only about driving ;) There are many interesting things I can learn from it. Congrats and best wishes to your cousin.
The left most lane looks similar to Thailand and is what the slow mopeds use and the cars use the second lane. They have the count down traffic lights and the other thing they have is u turn junctions on the main roads they are a bit nerving. Last time i went i took my bike and generally i found everyone really good and much better than the uk. Then again they all learn to ride a motorbike from 3 so everyone is used to looking out for motorbikes or people on 2 wheels
Love these videos India vibes
19:28 Serious fault - did not check side mirror before turning and there was a cyclist close behind
lol not really
Aman outfit on point so cute
🥰thank you

Chandigarh wasn't built by the British . It was built after India's Independence
I am from Kolkata, westbengal, one of your channel subscriber, and also following you in Insta.... Regularly following you... Good to see your videos.... All the best ❤️
By the way, Chandigarh and Delhi will probably be the most rule following driving experiences you have with wide roads and roundabouts- if you go anywhere else the driving experience will make you want to take a taxi and just leave your car there because it’s just not worth it
Honestly this is more entertaining ❤😂
If the traffic lights in chandigarh are off that means its a malfunction
If there are turned off its just a blinking orange or as you said amber light
Sometimes when there’s too much traffic the cops take control of the lights instead of standing at the junction. the timer of the traffic lights says “MANUAL” when that happens.
It'd be so nice if you taught me how to drive on roundabouts in Russia as they're so confusing there, and the rules about who's got priority before/on the roundabout are also really difficult to understand 😂 Glad I moved to the UK in 2022. I adapted to driving in the UK in less than a week, understood roundabouts in the UK from the first attempt of driving here, and now I've got my full UK driver's license sorted out already lol
Long way to go to give lessons.
Only the best will do.
Hahah 😛
"Oh, there's a cow on the road" is my favorite Indian-adventure quote!
That traffic and roads are pretty decent when compared to Bangalore
Chandigarh is not for beginners. Love your videos and driving skills.. Love from Chandigarh. Loved watching you on the streets I drive daily on
if you have driven in Shimla or in Delhi .. Chandigarh is still little bit easy
Challan hotey hai bus chd mei jyada
No indians cities r for beginners
Been watching ur vids loads been very helpful, I failed my test due to a stupid stupid mistake And guess what, I was literally on my way back to the test centre like I mean a min away from it, I drove through temporary traffic lights after giving cars way to come through I only had 6 minors im honestly so gutted
I travel to these roads everyday😂. A piece of cake for me to drive here
Started with Elante Mall
Honestly it doesn't seem so bad. People just need better discipline. All of these issues could be solved with proper training and licensing. The future is looking bright for India.
Yeah Chandigarh is really well kept and just needs a bit more discipline 👏🏽

excited
12:07 basically the area where you were in , there are a lot of government offices and they turn off the traffic lights when ever any politician or any higher official is visiting the office
She started driving from elante mall and then went rc office to transport lights. I live just 1km away from elante where she started and take the same rout to office where she was driving. The same pot holes on road and same issues we face on road daily seems really funny from someone else's perspective 😂
You definitely won't like driving in CA, DMV, FL, NY or NJ. Rules here don't exist.
Great video! Cheers
I would love to see you drive in Udharband, Assam! Driving there is a nightmare!!
Had driven on these Chd roads for close to 18 yrs , but now nervous to start driving in UK 😢

Hey aman i loved your videos very much. In that case i learned something by ur videos and I have many questions for u.first one is where are u from? Second one is you know hindi?

So gentle and orderly compared to central Jakarta.
I will have to look that up
13:34 - her reaction after this question 🤣🤣😂 , i can t believe someone can be so excited about roundabouts so much . Love your videos ,can t wait for next.
We loved it and you should probably talk in hindi or punjabi or mix of all languages
That would create a strong connection between us mostly with India peoples
There is a video coming up soon (2 weeks)
I see the slight white knuckles as you grip that steering wheel Aman 😅
mehndi looking nice on your hand
Should try Noida-Greater Noida roads if you get a chance
It was like a learner doing a mock driving test in central London.
The area at the end of the clip almost looks like it could have been somewhere in Europe.

One who can 'survive' driving in Pune for its first driving in the city, can called be the conquerer of the world in terms of driving....
Its that harsh, and i proudly say, i am one of the conquerer 🤗🫡
Would love to see how your older brother does driving the same route 😂
i noticed you are not using horn, but with 2 wheelers while overtaking, honking is necessity in india.
This is INDIA MY 💜☺️ even though YOU were 😍 on Indian Roads.. PUNJABAN GIRL 😃
Aman he willl come very sonno good
I actually feel internal pain watching you drive while following the rules and waiting for others. a tip for you is that when driving in India, you care about other peoples driving skills cuz they are unpredictable, and also never wait for oncoming traffic on that narrow road just go through when u see a small vehicle passing
Bruh u just crossed my home😢....would have comover nd grabbed coffee❤
You should use carn horn more often. If you’re driving in India u should do it more especially if you’re overtaking bcuz you never know if the one u overtaking is aware whether or not he/she is paying attention.
Its a beautiful city still
city beautiful
Aman sister requests to visit Sri Lanka one day.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
7:34 that pedestrian crossing from behind the truck is why you honk in India. Because you don't know what's behind the truck that is going to try and merge into traffic.
Over in India is that a rule that the supervisor driver can be on his phone while a learner is driving 😂
try on manual on Indian traffic roads more it will be more fun XD
Come to Mohammed Ali road, Mumbai 🙂
Wow they honk like crazy ever there.
Its only in the UK people don't honk most countries people honk and its simply to say I'm here. Its never used in anger like in the uk
That actually so true!
Drivers usually get annoyed if they hear the horn go off
@ClearviewDriving I actually used to get upset by it . Then after 2 years going over to Spain to cycle it was so common for drivers to toot there horn as they went passed and I worked out it is them saying simply hello I'm here especially if they think a rider might move out. They also do passing other vehicles. Personally getting beeped is far better than being hit
@@wrightwoodworkThat's incorrect. Honking, no matter where you are in the world, is meant to be the last resort for the drivers to avert accidents and inform others at blind curves. If used on occasions other than the above, it most certainly is a result of unawareness and/or indiscipline triggered by annoyance of varying degrees. Following the basic traffic rules like speed limit and lane discipline would seldom prompt people to honk.
@@AdityaRaj222 you arr missing the point. The comment is about not taking offence to getting honked and wanting to start world war 3.
what is the model of the car? they mentioned, its a 4x4
Scary!! Lovejit was the brave one sitting in the middle!!
If u can drive in India are a qualified driver for world...

Seems like the drive is on a Sunday. Chandigarh is never with so less traffic on weekdays. By the way Chandigarh traffic police is very effective in enforcing traffic rules. Can't say same about Punjab.
