Caught a couple of episodes and a few clips of Tale of Rose. Eh. Not my thing. I think it does a good job on showing various stages of love and life, tempered with an artistic lens, of course. Crystal L is stunning and talented, as always. However, I find it strange how so many of the comments I see make her character out to be a constant martyr and saint…a perpetual victim to the men in her life. I don’t think the show intends that to be the case as both Rose’s friend and brother serve as the common sense element of the story, warning her of bad decisions and urging introspection which the FL sometimes listens to - and often doesn’t.

The tale of Rose is very boring. I watched the first 8 episodes and can’t continue. On the other hand, I like forward to each episode.
