As someone who was at the event and entered most of the events, the event was far from boring. There were lots of opportunities to run our cars all day and most of the night.
Arrma really should have given us more lead time for this event. I'd be there if there was more than a month notice. Hopefully next time we get at least six months to plan and build for it.
If we can get more big people like Cletus into RC I think it could take off… I swear if you like cars, you’ll like RCs. Massive crossover
He has been uploading some RC plane stuff, not sure how much is he into RC cars tho, i saw a video of him and George bashing around in some loaner 8S outcast before the event, they didnt seem new at bashing, doing air control and jumping just fine, but felt like they were not going to participate on it that much, more like just providing the facilities.
@@402Racing They definitely had a number of videos on the channel with them bashing around some Traxxas cars a while back, but it's just planes lately.
I have been hoping for a while they would put on some big rc events here. Cleetus is an rc fan so fingers crossed!
I’m kinda stuck, because in one way, I’ve been dying for somebody to put on a bash event for a long time, and actually do something on the east coast. But at the same time, I kinda expected more, especially being at the Freedom Factory, and with Cletus and the boys since they are in are into RC. I mean even the long jump completion, that jump is about the norm for an every day Kevin Talbot video. I really wanted to go to this event, but I’m also kinda glad I didn’t make the trek all the way down from Pittsburgh.

I want Arrma to build us a 1/5 8s Typhon EXB. All they need to really design is the body. Parts from other 5th scale rigs already exist for the rest.
We all do 😂 Rovan or the five b which are hard to get now are the way to go if you want a ultimate 5th scale buggy , it actually be better short of bashing maybe because it’s cheaper

Man I really wanted to go to this event. Of all of the video I have seen I am glad I didn't mate the trip. You and I live in the same town JayTee and to me it just doesn't look worth the effort. Looks like they have set up some ramps in the parking lot. Shoot we all do that at home. Let's hope for a better even as more videos' get uploaded. So far this event looks like a total bust to me.
I appreciate you taking time to film this JayTee. I had something come up last minute and I couldn’t go, but now I’m kinda glad I didn’t. This looks like it was a huge disappointment. Arrma should’ve hosted a “RC event” open to all brands not just Arrma. They eliminated a huge market of potential customers in my opinion. I noticed Cletus didn’t post any videos.

They had something that read how high the car went when it jumped they tagged it to each car
Is the kraton 6s v5 worth getting I see reviews of it breaking control arms breaking differentials how durable is the rc car I don't do extremely bashing mostly off road with small ramps I'm just worried that the rc is super fragile
They have a strip of pavement right beside them . Chose to place the ramp on bumpy dirt and grass instead

Bit of a bad run up to be honest not very level so some cars just bouncing around not able to grip properly
Bashing X-Games
The jump needed more up turn to produce more lift. Was very tame for a long jump contest. Compared to Paddlesworth you see on Kev Talbots channel this event has a lot to learn.
They should have done a Traxxas VS. Arrma Shootout! NGL that looked boring asf...the more the better!!
