My family doesn't understand when I come home with things they wouldn't think about buying ever! I see, with a little work and tender loving care you can have a beautiful piece of decor!

For the butter/ trinket dish I would of painted it with metallic gold or silver then painted it white . That way when you see the back side it does sparkle.

I've finally learned how to use a couple of saws and various tools and I have a few projects under my belt. I am interested in making shelves. I love primitive style. Have you observed a decrease in the sales of "farmhouse" style? It was so popular for so long and it finally seems to be decreasing from mass production on the store shelves. I just didn't want to make several farmhouse type projects and be on the decreasing end of demand. :) Thank you for for any input.
I had no idea you could paint glass like that! It gives me hope for the pile of worthless fake crystal in my garage from my grandmother's estate. I can't sell it anywhere but if I make it over... maybe? I'm going to try!

Thank you for sharing all these tips with us. I'll share one with you : masonry dye makes wood look 100 years old in a matter of moments. A little goes a long way too. Simply wipe it on and off with a wet cloth.
I build guitars for a hobby, and it's something I was delighted to discover. Kool aid powder also make for nice wood stain. You share amazing tips, and I really enjoy watching your videos.

No it would not work well at all it needs to be on a light painted surface I almost always do it on top of white chalk paint otherwise your letters will not show very well and you will see any paper residue left over
@@deborahwilcox2234 nope I use very cheap paper. I think the problem is that I do not have a laser printer. And it might also be the surface that I'm trying to put the graphic onto. I do not have any chalk paint. All my paint is latex or acrylic. But I have to work with what I've got.
Love your channel, cannot stop watching. I have tried the reverse transfer onto wood blocks but when I rub off the paper I can see the edge of the paper when I finish, is this right? Xxx
If you’re seeing an edge around where your graphic was in the paper it’s probably because you were putting on too much my post it is thick and it will show an outline if you have too much on you don’t need very much to have a successful transfer try that and see if it works
I love this transfer method but when I tried it you could clearly see where the paper was glued on after removing it with water. Do you have any tips on how to not have that outline? Thank you!
Thanks for watching Carla glad you enjoyed a little chip if you were seeing an outline it probably means you are using too much mod podge it is a thick substance so if you’re using too much when you rub off the paper you’re going to see that outline underneath you don’t need very much when you’re doing this transfer method a little bit goes a long way and also if I am doing a smaller sign I make sure I put the mod podge right to the edge of the paper and cut it the same size as my sign and then you don’t have an outline hope those tips help
You can do it with an inkjet but it's a little more complicated and a little less sharp/dark. Check her archive for the instructions. I just watched that one, myself because I don't have a lazerjet printer.

Have you put your graphics on black Chalk paint? Mine did not come out very good. A lot of the white paper would not come off

I am so amazed how much you can decorate without a Cricut. Do you have any tips on how to shop at Thrift Stores without getting gouged?
Every area is different. My area is usually priced really affordable
I can't get the paper to rub off properly. So frustrating!
Try not worry about a few imperfections as Farmhouse style is a bit chippy anyway.
I can't get it to work properly either. I've given up on it.
Your paper is to shiny. It might have some wax in it. Use very cheap paper and try that.

Turn some of your acrylic into chalk paint. She has lots of videos on how to do that.

I have all kinds of tutorials on my channel here showing you the reversed graphic have a look around it is a great technique and so easy to do
