My fave thrash guitar player by far, he does it so easy. His riffs are monumental and catchy, his tone crushing and devastating. To me he is a riff machine.

@@MetalHeart8787 I believe it won't be a real tour, just a bunch of sparse dates here and there. Tom, Kerry and him will have agreed so, since Tom doesn't want to tour anymore and Kerry and Gary have their main bands that will be their top priority.

i cant believe people think James Hetfield is the king of riffs when Gary puts out these insane riffs all the time. Gary Holt is the true king of riffs
@Kyuzo-dj2fp See, I like Hetfield, he inspired me to play guitar, but most of his riffs after TBA aren't as memorable as Gary's riffs.
And if you think that this video doesn't have any memorable riffs, then you're just wrong.

@Kyuzo-dj2fp feel sry for you but here it is a memorable riff, should i mention Piranha, Verbal Razors, Impact is Imminent, Deathamphetamine or Funeral Hymn... Metallica bring me to thrash but Exodus and Slayer made me stay. Being an easy listening musician isn't something that make you memorable, Gary defenitively is.
