It’s gonna be my first time at nyc and I have a question? If the doorman takes my luggage and my car, how would I know where they park the car and where they sent my luggage?

Doorman should get a raise in their salary because of the risk of Covid 19. It’s a service for people not having to open the doors themselves to limit the risk.

Did it for 15 an hour with a super that was a real loser on upper east side good for meeting girls besides that the co workers who barely speak English and the tenants act like they have a stick up their ass you get half hour break gotta be there a few years to get if your lucky 3 or 4 thousand for Christmas the super stands and looks at you all day rather work at McDonald's also you never have normal hours to open a door or throw out garbage doesnt even take a HS diploma

Totally agree dont care if you make 25 an hour boringest job in the world and the people that live in these buildings are terrible the supers and other doorman are all rats and backstabbers. But it is good for meeting women lol also if you smoke cigarettes they'll write you up bunch of phoney snobs in these buildings

I worked as a doorman for summer job after high school in 2014 it’s a great experience but not something you would want to do for the rest of your life. I did not like the idea of sitting down for 8 hours straight and not do much of anything.

Where can I find this job in Canada? So basically you have to open the car doors and tell the guests about what to do in the city right? What else am I missing?
