Umbro, remember them? Well technically they never left, but they're definitely not in the spotlight anymore. We've seen some interesting stuff from them over the last few years, but none of it has really caught on. Good, but not good enough being the main issue.
Enter the Tocco Pro, the latest "control" boots from Umbro, featuring a kangaroo leather upper with D3O foam inserts, along with new soleplate and stud pattern tooling, they've definitely sparked my interest! Literally the best boot brand on the world in my opinion, all their money goes into boot production rather than endorsement deals...
I dig these smaller brands. Umbro, Lotto, Mitre. These were the brands that I rocked when I was a youngin pickin daisies on the pitch. Plus nowadays you stand out, you’re not lost in the crowd of Adidas and Nike boots.

Got the UX Accuro 3 and they’re great. Very underrated boot, very soft. The only bad thing is how narrow it is but they stretch a bit (not for very wide feet). Honestly, I love them!

you should make a video on some concept boots. for example: the x ghosted outsole with a tiempo legend 5 upper with mizuno mij wagyu leather and mizuno sandpaper like insole with rubber power elements from the mania or wave ignitus or something crazy like that. maybe bring jaymike in too and compare your absolute frankenstines of boots

Bought the laceless model boots were super good but the studs are extremely small it feels almost like there not there and wears super fast . Until they fix the studs I would not buy, but otherwise super good especially since they go on discount.

Soccer Reviews For You D3O foam is used in many motorcycle protective gear that hardens upon high impact. My assumption with its application on football boots is it gives you better ball control on soft touches but hardens when you strike the ball hard, giving you a solid surface for impact. Are you able to confirm or giving your subjective opinion on that?
D30 is used in a variety of protective equipment, hockey is a big one as an example. I'd say it's difficult to feel the subtle difference in the compression of the foam upon softer and harder impacts, but I will say that it provides a dampened sensation on the ball without compromising feel. It also doesn't feel overly padded when striking the ball.

Even tho it’s a bit different if you want a leather boot you can try out the Nike Premiers or if you want a thin leather boot there’s a tech craft mercurial or even the Morelia neo, i know puma is releasing a leather version of the ultras soon that you might be interested in

@@ezraholwerda1512 I think the point is just that umbro aren't exactly a 'no name' brand, smaller than the big three these days for sure. But no name is very harsh. So totally agree with you, kind of a top brand trying to make a comeback.
Interestingly the reason Umbro are kind of having to try and come back is because they were bought by Nike and then sold off again with most of their assets stripped.

Creator team of these boots are still stuck in the 80s. In the 80s these would of been a hit but in 2020 not at all. People want flashy, flyknit and a cool logo (Nike/Adidas) by looking at these I can see that they offer comfort, quality and durability but because they don’t look “cool” they will flop in 2020.

I got these and I have never experienced worse blisters than with these shoes. The bit that wraps around the ankle is hard plastic with no padding. I wish I had seen this review before purchasing! Needless to say, do not get these!
