- Inside Nike's football boot factory in Montebelluna in Italy, which is where they normally build the boots for the best players in the World - and in today's video, we will follow the creation of the new Nike Tiempo Legend 9 MI made especially for Sandro Tonali. The boot takes inspiration from Andrea Pirlo's Tiempo Legend 1 from 2006 which he wore when he won the World Cup, and is built by some of the finest craftsmen in the World. So if you want to see how Nike make the boots for their pros, this video is a great - and very unique - look into a factory that's normally closed off to the public.

The dude was saying RIGHT off the shelf. Meaning they made the boots, it cooled for a day or whatever and you came and picked it up, just like the video. Nike ID the boots are shipped to you, been tossed around in a delivery truck, and god knows how some curriers take care of packages.

In case you forgot the boots you buy vs the ones the pros get aren't the same.
But I can't imagine how nice that is to get those custom boots. My left foot is a half size bigger for example. Would be sick to get custom tiempos like that.

The Mercs fit me like a custom boot anyways so I don‘t need that. The Gts leave a bit of dead space in the midfoot and gave me blister issues for a long time so it would either be them or the Tiempo‘s which I love but they are just too wide for me and make me feel a bit insecure when doing quick turns of direction. My favorite Nike boots were the Mercurial Vapor I ll & lll. The legends were cool too, the gold checked Ronaldinho ones.
Awesome that you can see they use real leather for the biggest players but for commercial the put plastic 😂😂
That's why I appreciate Mizuno making those MIJ boots, and if I'm not mistaken Diadora also make their shoes in Montebelluna.
Go to Bangladesh, Taiwan, Indonesia where most of Nike's sweat shops are. Ask them to open them for you and show you around. Most of the shoes are not made in Europe.

Definitely be a phantom venom with a tiempo 4 sole plate, whether that’s fg or sg. I’m lucky enough to have a pair of John stones match issue boots made in montebelluna and the quality is next level. They also have some unique modifications

Nike, Adidas and other brands should do more quality football shoes for little foot. Sometimes it’s difficult find good football or indoor shoes sizes that i have 35,5 or 36 (EU) (I’m woman). Sometimes you find good cheap shoes but it’s rare.

It’s cool seeing how football shoes are made but I didn’t see many with wider soles as I have big wide feet and it so hard to find a shoe that fits good, I usually have to order online and I have a hassle back and fourth as sometimes they fit too big or too small. I wish there was a store with a variety of shoes sizes and width not just the typical.

This was fun and very cool. I can't help seeing, with all those 'perfect fit' lasts, that no one's foot is shaped like that except when their toes are held together. I wonder how long it will be before the sports industry will realize the athletic performance advantage of toe-spread and naturally functioning feet?
Someone who gets it. The shoe industry is hurting us but always talk about 'optimal performance'.

The problem i found with Nike shoes is that the soleplate is usually a two-part piece, due to the stress caused by the bending it unglues way to fast in the same spot.
The 2 days in the shaper, that’s some mizuno stuff ain’t it, that’s why pros can wear a new boot every match then kinda dope

Normally in China but depends on the brand, for example, every Mizuno's boots are manufactured in Japan
Now let us into their Sweatshops.
If it had to be nike, it would be a Tiempo Legend Air Ronaldinho, Ronaldinho Dois or a Vapor VIII but with a full leather upper.
I would have the Nike factory make an exact replica of the Adidas Predator Mania. Preferably the Japan blue version. 12.5US please, 10 pairs in SG, 10 pairs in FG.

Great videos , great review but o had a issue when I got a pair of boots that cost $220 and didn’t fit me well so I wanted the size up and unisport don’t give a shipping label so it was pretty hard to get in touch to someone and to return them back and re order a size up it will cost me a extra $170 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
