- The BJP has announced the name of Tejasvi Surya, 28, for Bengaluru South Lok Sabha seat ending a long suspense. Surya is an advocate and general secretary of BJP Youth wing, Karnataka.
BJP central leadership bypassed the name of Tejaswini Ananthkumar, wife of the late Ananthkumar in spite of her impressive track record as a social worker.
