cardiomyocytes (heart muscle cells) actually have the highest concentration of mitochondria in the range of 5,000 to 8,000 per cell, all continuously producing ATP to drive the expansion and contraction of the heart.

Ps 1 hour and 43 minutes is nothing for such an amazing podcast. I was disappointed that you decided to finish it. Where are all the other podcasts? has your company closed down? "hope you all have lovely holidays" we are watching from all over the world lady, not just the USA.

The half-life of K2 MK7 is 72 hours I think and it recycles, hence why many folks are suggesting 100 Ugs is an adequate dose? I'm considering upping my dose to 200 Ugs though, after watching these videos.

Dino..mitochondria appreciate antioxidants, colorful foods with a lot of phytonutrition are helpful to support healthy mitochondria. Things like leafy greens, brightly colored berries, color in fruits and veggies are antioxidant in nature meaning they protect cells from oxidation, and break down, they help clean up cellular debris. What damages mitochondria are things like sugar, alcohol, fake food like substances found in processed foods. Sodas, desserts, highly processed fats and sugars found in fast foods, and packaged foods.

Interesting video. Thanks. But why do I keep hearing people state that mitochondria were once bacteria? There is no way for us to prove that it’s true. Better to say that it’s a compelling idea than to pretend that it’s a fact.

The best way to get vitamin K2 is through nutrient-dense animal foods: aged cheese, butter, eggs, fatty meat, organ meats, etc. Vitamin K2 amounts will be higher from pasture-raised animals.

Also, even though the short chain fatty acid butyrate is produced by gut microbes feeding on resistant starches, butyrate can be obtained from dairy fat and animal foods produce other short chain fatty acids are produced: isobutyrate, propionate, and acetate.

@@dinomiles7999 - Generally speaking, I feel better now than I have in the past. For more than 40 years, I had an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. Unsurprisingly, I also had severe depression that, since dietary changes, has mostly disappeared. But a lifetime of damage isn't easy to reverse. I'm not on any medications and, despite my past, I've never had any major health issues.
The only thing that has come up recently is some dry, flaky skin and one tight knuckle joint. It does concern me, as I had food allergies as a child. As an experiment, I'm eliminating dairy and eggs, two common food sensitivities. I'll see how my body responds. It's hard to figure out such things.

@@dinomiles7999 - I did do a vegetarian diet in the past, if only for a year. It did not help at all. But admittedly, I probably wasn't doing it optimally because my understanding of nutrition was inadequate at the time.
Still, I have been able to follow my brothers' health, as they have been vegetarians for decades. And their kids have been vegetarians for their entire lives. None of these vegetarians are healthier than the typicial American.
One brother is overweight and probably diabetic or pre-diabetic, another shows signs of nutritional deficiency such as loss of night vision and joint breakdown, and all the kids have various neurocognitive issues. They aren't specimens of health, although not necessarily worse off than many others.
It's anecdotal evidence, but my own experience is also anecdotal. Because of lacking research and the replication crisis, we are unfortunately forced to rely heavily on the anecdotal. It's all an experiment and I continue to alter variables in my own diet to observe results. It's an imperfect method.

If k2mk7 supplement daily how much 300-600 micrograms?? 1-2 milligrams??

It's a bit disturbing so many comments say k2mk7 supplement gave them heart palpitations or overcalcifies their arteries!!

CZcams supplement with k2 must be mk7 NOT mk4 by kellykitchenkop
Vid kieran kirshnan microbiologist says k2mk7 supplement daily 320 micrograms even if over years your Arteries have calcifications , k2mk7 supplement can reverse calcifications of arteries! He says no toxic level k2mk7
