They had the bodhran turned down so low, I could barely hear it. A bodhran isn't a child in which it's meant to be seen and not heard. I believe that it's meant to be heard just as much as any other instrument in an Irish band. And I believe it's meant for so much more than just keeping a steady rhythm.
