    Putting a set of air bags on the rear suspension would level out your truck with a load like that attached to it. Also get yourself one of the Gen Y hitches with the rubber isolators in it. They ride like a cadillac and are fully rebuildable when needed.
    Also your old 7.3L needed a set of new rear leaf springs. You can tell in the video clip of it shouldn’t have sagged that much under that amount of weight. But since you don’t have it anymore it doesn’t matter.

    Great eay to blow it up! Always tow on stock tune, always for longevity. I am arou d your age, started towing my heavy equipment with lml dmax, and moved 25k with it never a single issue. Now i got a 22 f450 KR i tow my 22k excavator with total 30k, and it amazing the power its got.

    Need to watch those egts if your gonna tow with a big tune. It's doable but definitely need to keep an eye on what's getting hot.

    Stock 2021 6.7 with 10 speed transmission. Truck by itself 5800 mile road trip Deep sout Texas to California, north to Oregon, east to Wyoming, south into Utah then over to Northern Colorado and then back to south Texas averaged 20mph. Pulling 42' 5th wheel around 12,500lbs. South Texes to northern Tennessee, Tennessee to northwestern Colorado, Colorado to Missouri average between 9 and 11 mpg. From Missouri to Tennessee pulling 23' bob tail around 17mph, return trip had a 99' Jeep XJ and milage dropped to 14mph. All mpg average is in regular mode on transmission. Did not use tow mode, but did activate the engine brake when hauling the trailers. Pulling 5th wheel up a grade and need a little more speed......put my foot down on the pedal, no bog, no hesitation she just starts increasing speed. 6.7's are a beast in my opinion.

    Great video... 9:00 use that keypad entry to always confidently shut the door and lock them-habit-always shut and lock...you can add your own 5 digit code...you'd be shocked how many of these trucks get stolen just by some random person walking by and getting in them...especially in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, as they'll be in Mexico before sun up..

    • @joeyfarkasofsky7607
      @joeyfarkasofsky7607 Před 10 měsíci

      If you do it couple times a week it's probably time for s diesel lol. Gas engines suck at towing heavy weight. I've towed similar weight with a brand new chevy 2500 with the 6.2 and it was gutless even compared to a tuned 7.3 with real weight behind it.
