Hello! I shot this video this morning, we have the first snow! ❄️❄️❄️ Also you can see a new instrument that I've bought recently. This is the chromatic alto kalimba by Hugh Tracey. As you know, I already have the chromatic treble one in C major (with the mandala). This alto kalimba has 15 tines on the front side (and 11 tines on the back) and I tuned it to G major for this song. Sounds deep and great! ✨🎵 I like it so much 🙂❤️

It’s a great cover as usual !! And congrats for your new hugh tracey Celeste Alto ! Do you enjoy it ?? What do you think of it ? I have another question for you. How do you make the glissandos on a hugh tracey ? I have the Celeste Treble (little sister of yours) and the edges of the tines are not smooth. So it’s harder to make glissandos as you will easily on the lingting for example. It ruins my nails. Do you have some tips ? Have a great day !!
I used my nail file to file down the tines’ edges, give it a try.
This is hauntingly beautiful. It appears you don’t have any stickers or engraved keys on the Kalimba... have you fully memorized the keys by heart? I’m curious because I’ve thought of trying to do that... Stay awesome ❤️

My daughter has just taken up the kilmba, but im struggling to find music books/sheets. Are "normal" music sheets easy to convert?
i find normal sheet music online, then manually enter the melody in a sheet music program called Musescore, and then use the automatic transpose feature to transpose to C major. Musescore is free to download.

А почему вы купили хроматическаю альт калимбу Хью Трейси на 15 зубьев? Почему не купили по ссылке на 17 зубьев.Вы же ее тоже могли на альт настроить www.kalimbamagic.com/shop/hugh-tracey-kalimbas/hugh-tracey-chromatic-celeste-treble
Alto kalimbas by Hugh Tracey (even chromatic one's) always have 15 tines on the front side, as I know. I don't quite understand you. Yes, the instrument on the link is my new instrument in this video.
Oh, you've edited the link and the text. The instrument on your new link isn't an alto, it's a treble kalimba, it's like my first chromatic kalimba with the mandala, but this has a flat body (without a hole), I can't retune it in G key.
Obviously the main theme is not played from this instrument. It is just an accompaniment
I don't think you should get snow on your kalimba :c
I think snow is not healthy for your Kalimba.
