I love how this starts out. Before I say anything else, let me say *all* of these musicians are top-notch. What I'm about to describe is in no small part ascribable to the nature of the trumpet vs trombone and tuba, the former, with its upper register notes, much more able to cut through the sounds of a street and open sky. So here's my comment: the first 19 seconds are cool ... I'm feeling the groove, and I'm thinking "I like this" ... but then, WOW!, at 0:20 the trumpets come in like a bullet train announcing themselves in no small manner - and that is totally awesome! If people on the street weren't paying attention prior to 0:20 they most certainly were paying attention at 0:20 and beyond! Again, I'm not knocking the other performers. Actually I love the effect of starting out unassuming and under-the-radar and then catching your audience off guard with something immediate, in-your-face and powerful. This is all of those!!!! Love everything about this! Even the ball at 4:20 (is it a coincidence it appeared at 4:20?)
