I have two loaves baking right now. Smells amazing!
Thank you so much for the recipe! I have already made it twice, in the second time, I also added black and white sesame, it's just sooo good!!!
Thank you. It looks scrumptious.
Awesome! Gonna try this out.
Just tried it and it's perfect 😊 thanks
Hi, thanks very much for the best ever Coconut Bread! The first time I didn’t cook it long enough but it was still great, 2nd time left it in 30minutes @ Gas mark 6, turned out light and fluffy! I used the quick method! It will keep in the fridge for a few weeks, if you wrap the pieces in kitchen towel the in cling film and into a sealed bag. Best of luck!
Hands down the best coconut flour bread recipe on CZcams! Thank you so much!!!
Wow, thank you! That's amazing feedback. I am so happy you enjoy the bread
I just bake it and I must say is super yummy & soft but yet healthy. Thx for the recipe 😊
I just had a few warm slices and I thank you. It is GREAT! It even tasted buttery. No more sweatsock taste using almond flour.

HANDS DOWN! HANDS DOWN! I had tried several of them before I stumbled upon that one.
Made today by second method, turned out good.
This was a breeze to prepare, and so filling! Thank you.
You are so welcome!
This is one if the simplest recipes I've seen. Thank you. I'll be trying it this week
Hope you enjoy
Great recipe! I bought some coconut flour and I didn’t know how to use it, but this recipe looks really good so will be trying it soon !

Just baked it. It was really delicious!
Great to hear!
Just done it, anxious to taste it. It needs cooling.
I will try the last recipe in a dutch oven with a clean rag under the lid to absorb the steam. It's all about trying. Only doing this cause my oven needs repair :) Thanks for the info!
Thanks aloootttt maam...I love ❤
Going and try this tomorrow cant wait to see how it comes out
Hope you enjoyed it
Wow thank you! thank you so much now I can enjoy bread again 😊
My pleasure 😊 So glad to hear this recipe works well for you
This turned out fantastically. Great recipe. I omitted the arrowroot and made the version with beaten egg whites. For seeds I use flax and some chia. I let it sit a few minutes so the chia got thicker , then added egg whites. Dynamite!
Yay! So happy to hear this coconut flour bread recipe worked out for you
Thank you for this recipe. I tried it and it is wonderful !!
Glad you liked it!!
Thank you so much! I can’t wait to try it! I really like your videos and I have subscribed!
Awesome! Thank you!
This Look's absolutely delicious and so tempting.👍🏼
It really is!
Thank you for sharing ... The bread looks amazing! I will try it today! ... I am just wondering if I can use instead evaporated milk, canola oil and oats flakes for the topping? That's what I have at home 😃
Going to try it right now. Been in search of a fast easy low carb bread recipe and this just might be it!
Hope you like it!
I don't understand why you call this low carb. The arrowroot or the tapioca are high carb ingredients.
I can't wait to try this!
Hope you like it!
I made it today, delicious 😍😋
Wow! That's super good! I just made the easy one and I can't stop eating it. It's half gone already.
So is half a loaf considered a healthy meal :)
Tried the blender version and omg yum.
Yay so happy to hear the easy method worked out well for you
Well done, fantastic job
Thank you! Cheers!
This turned out really good. I made coconut bread for the first time, but the results are really good . Thank you for sharing the recipe.
You are very welcome. Glad you enjoyed this coconut flour bread
I've got a lot of coconut flour around that I have no idea what to do with because I'm just learning how to bake. I was glad to find so many helpful videos on your channel dealing with that type of flour. This one was really helpful because I really don't want to use 7 or 10 eggs to make a small loaf of bread. I'm well retired and can't always get to the store, which makes me pretty cranky. So thanks for all of your posts, they're very much appreciated and I'll be exploring several of them. I don't know if this is what they call PC or not, and I don't care. I think your stunning. God bless ya dear.
You have come to the right place. I have a lot of coconut flour recipes (that use as few eggs as possible) 😃
I just made this and it turned out great. This is the first keto bread I've made but it satisfied all my bread cravings. Thanks for sharing!
Great to hear!
I’ve been making coconut flour baked good for years and never found a good bread, until now! It has a nice rise on the top and the texture is much like wheat bread I make. I used a mix of flax and psyllium husk. Usually, my coconut recipes have an odd bitter taste and I wasn’t sure if it’s a baking powder/soda reaction to my baking pans and non-stick and silicone. I used parchment this time just in case. No odd bitter taste. I may reduce the honey to 1/2 tbsp next time. I topped the bread with everything but the bagel seasoning-delicious! Thanks for this recipe!
what proportion of flax and psyllium husk, please?
The second method would suit me best, it looks lovely, thank you for sharing !!!
You’re welcome 😊 I wish you great success with it
@@Leelalicious Thanks !!
I just made the 1st version of this and it is SO yummy. I used ground chia seeds and honey. YUMMY. Thank you!
Wonderful!
Of course you must know honey is just sugar and completely negates any low carb benefit.
You are the best
Using your recipe for my third loaf- "outstanding"! Thank you so very much!! Finally able to get the whole ground flaxseed meal, and the difference is right off the bat! Can't wait to taste it. And now, for the next month, get the other seeds and wait for the aroma to arrogate the whole house!
I have made this twice and the third time is in the oven now. Never pourable like in the video. I added enough almond milk to make it pourable and probably still won't come out right. Can you suggest what I might be doing wrong? Thanks. 🙂
Fantastic! So glad you like the recipe
Hey Denise, I replied to you above already. But I wonder if your other ingredients (almond milk, eggs) were cold and made the coconut oil and the rest of the batter solidify in the blender? Maybe try the bowl method next time instead
You are a beautiful butterfly who spread joy and knowledge thank you dear
Wow, thank you
Amazing recipes 🙏
Thanks a lot
It is very good, I can easily eat it as bread, but a little bit sweetened, it would make a tasty "pound cake". I would try with egg whites only, to avoid the eggy taste. Anyway, a very satisfying and filling bread. I would also mix in some nutritional east for a little bit of yeasty taste. I used yellow flax, next time I would use black ones for a more earthy taste. Thank you for your great recipe.
I am so glad to hear it worked out well for you. You have some great ideas there to make the recipes your own with some modifications
I baked it today ❤
Thanks for watching and making my recipe
I love you try it looks yummy thank you and God bless you I love your videos Yum Yum Yum
Thank you so much
Great video for baking with coconut flour. Please put up video captions of ingredients at the bottom as they’re not clearly heard on video. Thank you!
LeeeeeeeeLicious!!!
It looks a Very tempting recipe. And so quick! I wonder if adding a bit of salt the flavour would be enhanced. Thanks for the recipe.
Yes there is 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt in the batter
Yum!
Thank you
Wou ,
I’t looking 👀 good 😊 😮
Woooow
Thank Leelalicious will try d quicker version I get a little lazy sometimes to go d long way lol God bless
Nothing wrong with the quick version. I am all for shortcuts in the kitchen 😃
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
Can I skip the flaxseed/chia seed step? I don’t have either
Tried it the low carb version today. Just added in some honey. Added extra milk to thin out my batter to look like your. Baked perfectly 😍
Thank you for this. Tastes so good
low carb bread, but you added honey and milk?.....
@@Quiet_luxury_beauty How did you make it low carb? The arrowroot or the tapioca have 27 carbs per 1/4 cup.
Super 👌
Are you using brown flax meal in the bread or golden?
I did this today and we loved it!! Even my kids say it's so yummy😋 can i ask for the macros pls? How many net carb per slice? I did 14 slices by the way🙂
You can find detailed nutrition facts in the blog post leelalicious.com/coconut-flour-bread-recipe/#wprm-recipe-container-57495 (also linked in the description above). I got 13 slices from my loaf and calculated around 3.3 net carbs per slice (no honey or sweetener used). Your's with 14 slices will probably be around 3 net carbs
Thanks for your recipe. May I know if I can use Almond flour instead of Flax meal?
Yes you can. The texture will be different though
YAA MAAAAN GRRRRRRRREAT BREAD
I like the blender better 😄
Hi Leila,
thanks very much,
I am on keto also I have leaky gut syndrome,
Suggest me whether I can use eggs, since protein do react me but not sure whether it will react if used in bread.
I have small 10L oven, how much degree shall I keep? mine has 220 degree max
You'll have to test it out and see if the eggs sit well with you. Every body is different so it is hard to advise. It sounds like your oven is in Celsius. Then the baking temperature should be 190°.
Thank you for sharing! 375 degrees Fahrenheit? (I'm from Austria, that's I'm asking)
First time separated the eggs it turned out gd. Second time used the blender method and added chia seeds instead of flax and it turned out cakey. Also without adding any salt it was very salty. 🤔 Any insight on this? Thanks!
must be the bicarbonate of soda? 2 tsp is quite a lot so the taste probably came through
So I should have just made 1 loaf to try it but I made two. The batter was a little thick so I thinned it out using a bit of heavy cream (I used this in the recipe also). The end result was that the loaves didn't rise and the toothpick came out clean but they weren't cooked in the middle (and caved in). How would I make it rise more? Use more baking powder? What did I do wrong? I feel like this can be my go-to keto bread recipe. Thanks.
Since I discovered this recipe in June, I've been making it twice a week; but always with flax meal. I have a question: you said we can substitute psyllium husk or ground chia seed to the 1/3 of cup of flax meal. But you didn't say if the substitution is a 1-to-1, meaning if it's 1/3 of psyllium husk or 1/3 cup of ground chia seeds or are there adjustments to make if using psyllium husk or ground chia seeds? Thanks a lot. By the way, even though I know the recipe by heart now, I still listen to it every time, while making the bread.
Please be careful with flax meal. It can be poisonous when "opened" like being crushed. It also oxidices very very fast. Like within hours after the shell being broken. There is plenty of information about it online and my country even advice people not to eat it at all. Kind regards
Oh and I use psyllium husk
@@a.b.1184 oh wow! I plan to make this in the morning.
@@a.b.1184 Which country?
It would be nice to see the two loaves side by side so we can see the difference in the two methods.
I didn’t film the two versions on the same day, otherwise a side by side would have been great to see. Both make delicious bread though. Start out with the version that seems more doable for you.
How much flaxseed to make 1/3 cup flax meal for this recipe?
I am about to make coconut milk and oil and wanted to know what to do with the pulp... thank you sooo much
My pleasure 😊
hi ,Thank you for the recipe. would it be possible to say how much carbs in a slice of coconut flour bread?
There are nutrition facts provided in the recipe box on my site (leelalicious.com/coconut-flour-bread-recipe/#wprm-recipe-container-57495). These are provided out of courtesy calculated automatically with the standard recipe. For any type of variation or omitting/adding optional ingredients they may change.
What can I substitute if I dont have arrow rot powder or tapioca flour ?
ممنون ازشما خانم زیبا
I would love to eat your coconut flour bread, tomorrow morning I'm baking two of them, for me it's actually a necessity because bread affects me and even though I know how to make good almond bread I never really liked the taste so this should be a real treat😄
Sounds great! I hope you enjoy the flavor of this better than almond bread
So I made two loaves and already they're much better than almond bread, however I need to get more practice at this I found that it was very hard to whisk the egg whites even though they were at room temperature, anyways practice makes perfect
❤❤❤❤
@leelalicious I followed the exact same measurements as your recipe, and made 3 attempts, but all 3 times, it came out meaty (like coconut meat) instead of dry on the inside. Did you face anything like that while trying at your end?
Hmm. I am not sure I understand the 'meaty' texture. This is what is called a quick bread recipe, like banana bread. Or similar to a cake but less or no sugar and quick leavened (baking powder/soda) instead of yeast in a wheat flour bread. So the texture and consistency is definitely different from say white toast. To get a similar effect, I recommend slicing the coconut flour bread, and toasting each slice to give it more of a dry, crunch crust on the outside. Hope this helps
What is the difference in texture between method 1 and 2? Thanks!
Whipping the egg whites makes a little airier, lighter bread. It's a bit more fluffy
❤
Is there a low carb substitute for the arrowroot or tapioca powder? Those are 27 carbs per 1/4 cup.
But it sounds great! And I really love the tip on how to slice the bread for sandwiches. I’ve never seen that before
The starch is optional. Omit it for a low carb version
@@Leelalicious so sorry. I finally saw the note at the end. If I sub almond flour, would I use the same amount as the arrowroot? Thank you. Looking forward to trying this
@@judysbakeryandtestkitchen1654 Yes with almond flour use the same amount as arrowroot. It's not exactly the same texture, but helps to lighten up the overall crumb texture
@@Leelalicious Thank you for answering my question. I think the texture might be better than the psyllium husk powder?
Damn it! now I know what to do with that Coconut Flour, I was about to throw it out today. It seemed quite useless staring at me in that sweet corner, now I'm gonna bake that bad boy.
Haha me too!
Hello Im not doing egg yokes right now. Could you reccomend a substitute? I can do the egg whites.
Maybe try with just egg whites?
I can’t wait to make it I will let you know I’m sure it’s good looks yummy God bless you wherever you are and few days it’s gonna be Thanksgiving happy Thanksgiving God bless whole
Your family🥰❤️✝️💝🙏💐💋👏👍
Thanks so much. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving too
Hello, can I substitute flax meal with the same amount of coconut flour?
You can try to replace it, but it will definitely effect the texture of the bread. I am not sure how it will come out
Hi! Can i use a chia egg in substitute for the egg?
I don't think so. I tried it with flax egg substitute and it turned out way too dense
Can this bread be made in the slow cooker as well?
I have never made any bread in the slow cooker, so I really can't tell
Hi. It's 140 kcal in the whole loaf?
What is a good replacement for the flax meal? It must be low/zero PUFA.
I don't know the PUFA of these, but other reader have reported using chia or psyllium husk as replacement
@@Leelalicious Cassava flour?
@@rajeevdsamuel Yes if that works for your requirements, I think it will be good in this recipe too
I wish you youtuber food gurus would start measuring dry ingredients by weight, instead of volume. Everyone would get much more consistent results 😊
I do actually. My blog post always have metric & volume measurements. However, kitchen scales are still not the norm in North American kitchen. So I am giving options for everyone to make these recipes work
‘Everyone’? You mean you would?🤔
@@sking51 no. I meant exactly what I wrote. It has absolutely nothing to do with the person cooking.
I will like to try dis bread but on trying to avoid eggs can I leave out d eggs or is there a substitute n thanks for sharing
I have not had success with my usual flax egg replacement here. Maybe another egg replacer might work though
What size pan did you use because when we made this with a regular bread pan it did not fill this like yours is in this clip and does not rise much at all
I believe mine is a 8x4-inch pan
Can i used regular all purpose flour insade tapioca starch?
Yes that should work if you can have gluten
