Off The Records really did a great job ruining Nako's growing popularity and confidence every era. And when they made her sing the high note in AYAYAYA she just received backlash instead of appreciating that she got lines and was able to prove that she is a versatile idol.

Yup, i totally agreed, yuri and chaewon is on the top, no.3 could be yujin or yena, chaeyeon is at no 4 for me, i've heard their singing a song cover on their insta, the only spot are hard to decide is no.3, yujin have been on KOMS, she's good, yena always been praised by members due to her unique voices and vocal ability, chaeyeon have strong vocal too, but her low pitch vocal isn't that well compared to yujin n yena, you can listen to her recent song cover on izone inst

Actually the difference between eunbi and chaeyeon is the ability to sing in other language and pronounce it clearly which give chaeyeon an upper hand over eunbi, eunbi also have strong vocals but she does admit herself having difficulty hitting certain pitch while singing a song, and everyone even the members like sakura said that unlike eunbi korean voice, her voice is change significantly when she sing their jpnese songs, her voices shouldn't be so different when singing other language songs like other members, it happen probably bcuz her vocals actually aren't stable and suitable for every note as ppl thinking

Yeah she deserve so much her lead vocalist position! And a lot of people are not gonna to agree but as a vocalist (not only technique and power) I think Nako is better than Chaeyeon (Vocal color, Emotions, Techniques, Range)

Yea i think people often forget how young wonyoung and yujin are. Yujin is already a good singer and wonyoung has great stage presence and facials. Anything they lack they have time to improve in.

I would agree but I'd definitely still put Nako lower than Yujin since all of her high notes are nasally (which not everyone finds it pleasant to hear ) and everyone in the vocal line can do it better. Also her versatility is limited. She's still good tho but you just need to find a concept that would suit her voice.
i do just wanna mention that juyin was able to hit the high note from the debut evaluation in produce 48 where has chaeyeon nako and takeuchi miyu werent able to.

The fact that Eunbi is often overlook as the 2nd best vocalist along with Yena although they almost consistently produce shallow support within their supported range, saddens me. Vocal technique is not just about tone, it's about engaging with your diaphragm properly.

yes, the rankings have changed now (in my opinion) ! people have stopped sleeping on chaewon's vocals. however, OTR did nako dirty. in produce 48 she was always main or lead vocal (im not sure) but now she's just a vocalist, with barely any lines. shame to those people who got angry when she got ayayaya high note. However, i agree with this ranking in produce48 era.
In my opinion hyewon has amazing voice , but she don't have confidence
hyewon’s voice is very deep, making her voice stand out! Our biggest hope right now is for her to regain confidence and for OTR to step their game up and let our kwangbae have lines!😤

sakura's tonal quality has not improved at ALL since produce 48, although her stability and vocal control have. she's still extremely nasally and can go sharp and flat easily during performances and even recordings. hyewon hasn't improved AT ALL either in any sense but you can tell she's trying harder to sound less emotionless by putting in more power into her singing, eg. the last izone immortal songs episode where hyewon sang after the dance break.
@sitinur fatihah hitomi is still not that great of a vocalist. she's become more stable, but her tonal quality hasn't changed since produce 48. minju has added more expression and girth to her voice comeback after comeback and her confidence boost has really helped her vocal ability shine through (eg. look at the difference between ayayaya and fiesta. she changes her emotions so flawlessly between recorded voices and performances)

it's personal op bro, at least my op not based on biased, and was even similar to the members own opinion, eunbi herself admit that she's struggling to hit certain vocal note, and her voices change significantly when she singing their jpnese song as described by sakura, showed that her vocal aren't consistent, between her and chaeyeon, chaeyeon got more stability in vocal than eunbi, but she struggle to hit low note , hear carefully on her post song cover from insta, she obviously out of breath or doesn't breathing correctly, but her voices doesn't suddenly changed like eunbi even if she's singing in jpnese or english

to obvious that the 3 of them are actually members with the best vocal control in izone atm, yet i put yujin in no 3 instead of yena, partially bcuz yena part as the rapper doesn't usually required her to sing very melodically like 'someday' , she just sing using her usual husky voices, while yujin, her performances at KOMS is enough to see her potential, that's a 16 yrs old girls rookie doing solo performance, i might wrong, but i think she was 15 yrs old by international ages at that time, but she already have such high quality performances, she still got plentiful of times to train her vocal further, if yena join KOMS later or getting solo, i might change my op later

That's make em having a problem getting more line to be in vocal team, nako might pass 50/50, but for kura, no need to discuss about her vocal when singing, even her daily talking sometimes are hard to be understand, the way they been trained is surely making differences, the 3 kline of twice or any other jpnese member of kpop idol gg doesn't seem having such severe nasal sounds, even juri trained her voice and vocal to reduce the nasal sounds atm, and now, her voices can mix well with the rest of RCPC members voices

Not trying to hate but I also notice that sakura's voice is too shaky even when she's just talking(not because she isn't fluent in Korean but also when she's speaking in Japanese)
And I think thats the reason why the management is hard to give them more lines cause their nasally tone doesn't suite majority of izone's songs. 1
@@eunhaxyenaxyeonjungxyeji1164 That's why they usually got a very short and repeated line in their main song, it's obvious if we watch their main song MV, even though they're getting such short line, it still need to be tuned, just so their voice tone could mix with other members voices tone, bcuz the main song need to be sing and performed live, even if any music shows requires them singing without backtrack music, due to getting a short line, they won't be exposed or feels too difference than the original MV sounds , unlike their side track or jpnese songs where obviously such nasal voices will be considered normal 😅 members that tends to have singing or vocals problems usually got short line, including hyewon, if everyone notice, actually, she's looks more like she's been talking, than singing her parts , but due to her deep tone voices, it sounds like a raps part, so sad that she doesn't try to working out her singing ability bcuz a deep voice like her voice in lvier song is indeed suit as a rappers,

lmao you mustve forgotten that eunbi debutted as a vocalist and a dancer and after they disbanded she sang with an infinite member.
i really like chaeyeon but eunbi is better than her. you can obviously prefer her voice over eunbi's, but without a doubt, chaeyeon strains a lot when she sings and sounds very nasally, while eunbi, while also not being a perfect lead vocalist, can hit high notes with more ease and sings with a crisp, clear voice. the one thing chaeyeon does better (vocally) is isolating her riffs. eunbi cannot isolate riffs at all, she had a lot of trouble with that during performances as well.

after watching yuri at KOMS today, still doubt she's no.1 vocalist of izone? lol, every wizone know she's no.1 , others that disagree about it probably biased to others or noob🤣🤣🤣
My opinion on the CURRENT (SSOTS) era vocals:
1. Yuri (such amazing range, control, and top-notch natural vocal beauty)
2. Chaewon (have you heard her high note in Up/haneul wiro?)
3. Chaeyeon (both Chae’s could be main vocals tbh, Chaeyeon just needs to create a more unique vocal tone)
4. Yujin (say what you will, Yujin has a better range and consistency compared to 5 and 6)
5. Eunbi (amazing tone production tricks people into placing her higher, but she’s still amazing)
6. Yena (amazing tone production tricks people into placing her higher, but her voice is the least versatile of the vocal line)
7. Nako (her biggest problem is breaking free of the constant nasal tone, otherwise, she could be lead vocalist)
8. Minju (very good tone, but struggles with breath management on stage)
9. Wonyoung (struggles with consistency and vocal projection)
10. Sakura (stable, but huge lack of versatility)
11. Hitomi (if she broke away from the constant nasal tone, she would be higher for sure)
12. Hyewon (she works hard, and her lower register is really nice, but her upper register isn’t developed)
