Vivi All four of Chuu, Yves, Heejin and Jinsoul have had decent (for their level* to be clear) development in their mixed register in recent years. Chuu and Yves both can usually support up to Bb4, better than the days of G#4. Heejin and Jinsoul also both saw some development there, to a lesser degree than the first two. I think people severely overestimate Haseul's support (which is actually almost non-existent, Haseul does not strain (or very rarely so), but she does not support...these two facts can co-exist, but people seem to get confused. Point is, she's overtly bright, which hinders the development of vocal chords and any shallow support she can have). The reason why I'm putting her above Kim Lip (and hesitated putting her above Jinsoul as well) is because her head voice (which comes from her opera background) is actually fairly decent for her level, and is by far the best in the group (well Chuu would be the only competition in that regard, and Haseul's headvoice is definitely better than Chuu's). But her mixed register and lower register are excessively over-estimated.

wow this ranking sucks lol, the criteria is way too subjective. i know it's your opinion, but some of the girls have pretty good technique and you ranked them low just because you didn't like their tone and pronounciation

Okay okay hear me out, it's fall 2023 and I've watched our girls grow , as of now I'd put them in this ranking: 1: Yuri amazing vocalist will never be beat 2/3: Eunbi/Chaewon they've both grown and I feel like they have power that wasn't there before ex: Eunbis vocals in underwater and Glitch and Chaewon in Unforgiven 4: Yena, she has so much power in the way she sings in her solos and pop punk really exaggerates that 5/6: Yujin I mean come on she has an advantage with a unique tone but she's grown alot, Chaeyeon once again can hold her own and her vocals have gotten so much stronger with solo experience 7: Nako!! Underrated ! She lead her Japanese vocals once she returned and her solos she performed when she graduated were top tier omfg! 8: Hitomi , okay, hear me out we heard her in Pink blusher absolutely annihilate and that's exactly what she's been doing in Japan! So amazing just needs to be in her own field. 9: Wonyoung, her lower register has really opened her up to more powerful vocals! She does need to work on her stability tho 10: omfg Hyewons album , we missed out , we squandered , all we needed was something like winter poem and she would have slayed. My most improved tbh 11: Minju Don't get me wrong she's amazing and her vocals and raps are some of my favorite (Rococo and Violeta) I think she's just perfect for group singing and shorter parts 12: Sorry Sakura I love you so much and she is Absolutely ome of the most improved but same with Minju she suits group singing most but to add On I believe Japanese music is more her style and where she sounds her best !
