It was very smart to adapt his work into narration. A LOT of silent stars fell off as soon as it was mainstream to add audio to your films, cause they flat out could not verbally act. This way it’s technically still a “silent movie”. Sort of reminds me of the Goofy shorts with narrations, actually.
