- Welcome back to my youtube channel, in this week's video I made a bowl with a new design, a half bowl and on top of it is given a small bowl with a lid and has a handle, a unique design with the workmanship takes days to complete this work because I have to make a large bowl as the main part, a small bowl on top, the handle, and also make the legs, made of rosewood and spalted tamarind, for finishing I use natural oil, hopefully entertained by watching my video and hopefully this video can be useful for many people #mayukowoodturning #woodturning

And yet again another awesome creation. Where on earth do you find the inspiration for these unique pieces. I always look forward to seeing your latest video to see what you have come up with next. Can I ask if you have had an artistically trained background ?. . I have worked with spalted hardwoods many times, I always find it quite a gamble ordering spalted timbers online, Some are naturally spalted, others have been chemically spalted . I have found that achieving a good finish on spalted hardwoods can be difficult at times. Is that a drum sander you're using to flatten the wood?
What brand are you using? What do you think about the use of the drum sander if that's what it is?
They have mixed reviews.
That's right, drum sanders are useful for leveling wood and they are very useful in my work, I use a drum sander from the Krisbow brand
