    It sounds like the sort of liberalism Moyn endorses--aspirational, emancipatory, perfectionist--is a mirror image of the kind of national conservatism that the post-liberals wish to pursue. It's a politics with a definite telos, a vision of the highest good for the entire society, not the securing of individual rights and justice for all, then let people pursue their own conceptions of the good life as they understand it (exactly what post-liberals accuse modern liberalism of doing). I guess you could call this common good liberalism. I am not persuaded.
